great food and service

however we did get VIP service so bit of a bias review.

defiantly recommend the salmon and cheese cake

The food was great. Service was brilliant and presentation of the food was excellent. Overall was a lovely environment and very clean. Fantastic place for a lovely family meal.

One of the best grill houses in Birmingham. Don't take my word for try it. But very busy and less space.

Just went here. Great place to eat. Piping hot and fresh. The food was well cooked and tasted amazing. The service was great and there was almost always a waiter nearby. The place also looks amazing inside and has a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this to everyone and would go there again myself. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In there all the time, the curries the steaks,the piri piri chichen, sea bass,kebabish all xlnt quality , you name it... Delicious........ And. Lucky's back.



Update. July 3rd 2017.



After an extensive refurb/ reinvention,the two of us made our first visit back to Grillz. I had the T Bone /chips and my wife ,Mandy had the salmon/chips. The fried onions and mushrooms were replaced by onion rings & breaded mushrooms, different but not a big deal. The flavour and texture of my t bone were bang on,as ever. The salmon came with more of a kick in the sauce but my wife assured me it was up to the usual standard of Grillz.

The place was rammed, and that was only downstairs... Upstairs was getting fuller by the minute.

It is totally open plan kitchen wise, and boy could you see how busy they were.

A five star experience again ,and a well deserved five stars for hygiene still proudly displayed. Welcome back, a great meal again.

I was visiting from New York City and ate at Grillz Steakhouse. One of the best steaks I've had, delicious and fast service. The owner, Akhi was friendly and made sure my family and I had an enjoyable dining experience.

Grillz is an amazing steakhouse I would recommended to anyone, it's clean, amazing customer service, fantastic food and excellent deco. Will be visiting again soon. Keep it going lads.

Great tasting fresh food, service was surprisingly fast and waiters very polite even though my son got locked in the loo, they brought him up to me and broke the lock. Lol

For starters I always have



Lamb chops - which are very succulent

Crispy king prawns - taste out of this world

Ribs - tasty and tender

Wings 2 ways - best I have had



Then for mains I have the



T bone steak

Salmon



Sides I have



Buttery mash

Mushroom sauce

Peppercorn sauce



Everything in grillz is to have.



They have never faulted me.

Foods really good here, service was good to! Deffintley recommend, I had the steak just how I like it:)

Best steak in Birmingham after yaqoob steakhouse. This place is a bit loud but steaks are nicely made

Ive Rated Grillz 3 star okay first the annoying problems to sort out.



1st why do you have to put the chips in a small flower pot when I order a sirloin steak rather then just put them on a normal plate and the wooden board thing the stake comes on is terrible honestly I hate that so I rather have a normal plate.



The notice says family Area only when I sat down stairs I was freezing cold everytime somebody opened the door because the door doesn't shut properly.



So please take that sign down that says

"Family Seating Only" and let anyone sit up there cus after I had my meal I complained about the coldness i was told I could of ate upstairs anyway even though I didn't have a family with me.



Also when I order the most expensive meal on the menu why do I get less chips than someone that orders a cheaper meal on the menu then me ?



Now good parts.



food was good the meat needs to be cooked a little longer when we say "well done" for a steak but I wont hold that against you.



Staff are friendly and gave us a good welcome when we entered the place so that felt really good.



I sure Grillz Steakhouse will read my comments and improve on things as the staff do really try there best to help customers so I like that.

I like the place foods nice and customer service is good, however there is a very short guy that works in the place who walks around with his trousers falling down with no manners at all. Didnt seem like he knows what his doing most of the time i was there, just running up and down like a headless chicken.

Went to pay the bill and the little guy could'nt do basic maths i had to help him out!! Even after the helping him and addressing his mistakes i got no thank you!



Got nothing bad to say about everyone else. Rest seem cool and down to earth.

Very poor customer service came from Wolverhampton for sisters get together paid 8.50 for literally a quarter piece piece of seebass.Rang up to ask is that their normal portions they serve? certainly was not worth the 8.50.Guy on the phone then said will send out another only then to be told by the driver have to pay for it?????They then wanted to see proof of the actual portion.Making us look like liars.Luckliy had taken a snapchat of it.Ok I understand you wanted to see as people probably do that to get a extra meal....but why say on the phone will send out another to us and then ask payment for it.we no beggars and don't want to keep what one rightfully is due.But seriously please brush up on your customer service skills.Will stick to our Local next time!

I think the food was a disappointment i had a steak which had no flavour at all and it was dry and greasy.

The service was awful. However one waiter was friendly and attentive.

I would not recommend anyone to go there it was a big disappointment!!!!

The only thing keeping these guys going is the chefs, the food is bangin but it’s probably the worst service I’ve had ever.



20 mins to take my order, asked for drinks with my meal but I get them straight away, then when I get my food I ask the manager to replace my drinks, 10 mins later an no drink so I head down stairs an the same guy is too busy on the phone, so I eventually get my drinks but still waiting for sauces to arrive.



Problem with these guys is they can’t handle it when they get busy. They’ll have the same amount of staff on a weekend and weekday



I don’t know where to start with this Hussain geeza. Biggest fibber I know. He’ll promise u all sorts then turn on u in the end.



Oh an if u do ever have a problem with the service, when it comes time to pay management will disappear.
