3D printing, Laser cutting /engraving, CNC machines, Massive Spark generator, Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects,
"mad scientist" projects - yes, we have our own Mad Scientist too! We have two home assembled Geiger Counters, an auto dialler which can send warning texts if a danger level is reached and other interesting projects such as light displays for photography.
We are also interested in sharing our ideas for projects as well as demonstrating our own and watching other demos.
Re-purposing of various kit will be undertaken. Anyone done this yet - sounds difficult!
Alternative Technology projects are welcomed and Matt will show pictures of his new "solar shed"
We have an expert on low cost self-watering systems for rapid plant growth - it's not what you think, honest! He has constructed hydroponic systems too.
We think our group will appeal to "preppers" too. Hope we get some hackers along to tell us why and what they are doing.
