Great for walking for all the family. Cycle and foot routes abound. The centre has a good restaurant and child's play area and zip wire.

A great walking/cycling/scrambling area. Good tourist info. Reasonable (cheap) restaurant

Great place. One of my favourite places. A lot of ground to cover. Plenty of organised events, go-ape ect. But plenty space and trails to explore freestyle. Don't forget safety tho. It's still a dangerous place, the mountain.

Loved the gruffalo trail with the musical trees. We also did the junior Go Ape which was good fun, but the lack of overtaking ability makes it stressful when your little one gets nervous and a queue builds up behind you. The instructors are great and quick to help.

Really good walks with a variety of choices. The statues are really fun too. Slightly off-putting how they are monetizing the experience; in particular, the lack of a free map on the notice boards for viewing pretty much forcing us to purchase a printed map which turned out to be fairly approximated rather than accurate.

An excellent day out for the family. Lots to see and do. Walks to suit all abilities and a great walk for kids as well. Go Ape course for those who love high rope courses.

Plenty of picnic spots, cafe available on site. Parking is reasonable value and all money goes into the local area. You pay on leaving and they make use of ANPR.

Fabulous place for cycling at all levels. There is a good mixture of challenging climbs and heart stopping descents. The views are fantastic from the hills above Coniston Water and from Hawkshead to Grizedale. Definitely paying another visit.

Went here today to walk the Gruffalo Trail, my child loved it!!

The attraction was free, just had to pay for parking which is reasonable as it keeps the attraction open.

There is a cafe and a playground next to the visitor information building also.

Well worth a visit!!

Good access, wide paths and challenging single track trail. Arrive early to avoid parking problems but a full day is cheap. Good bike shop with helpful staff and the cafe looked nice. If the there was one thing I would add it's a clear "shortest route to exit" on the way makers. I had to make an emergency exit to respond to a family drama and even with an OS map finding the fastest route back to the main car park is tricky.
