It’s that time of year again. The West side (visitors centre/north face trail side) will be closed to walkers and mountain bikes on this coming Saturday 7th December for the Grizedale Stages Rally. The East side of the forest (Bogle crag side) and Claife Heights etc are all open. The cafe, bike shop and go ape are all open as normal.

Sadly due to weather conditions on the roads and most people deciding, probably quite sensibly, to stay at home we’ve had to cancel the social ride. The forest is still open for those who want to venture out.

As you may have heard the Ard Rock Enduro has been cancelled this year due flash floods. They are still running the raffle with all proceeds going towards the people of Reeth and Swaledale!

Are you looking for a job in the bike industry?

We’re looking for summer staff at short notice to work on our bike rental, due to being busier than expected. The right person would be out going, good at talking to people and happy to work as part of a team. The job requires you to explain the operation of a Bikes controls, gears, brakes etc and put people on the right sized bikes. Full training will be given.
