A little back story; Splat was stolen from a back yard 7 months ago a long with his sister whiskey(we forgot to take after pictures of her, oops). They were found 7 months later fit and healthy (but very very matted) we had the pleasure to free them both from the terrible condition they were in. How beautiful (and happy) do they both look now!😍😊

We’ve rescued an American Cocker called Mildred and the ladies at Grrs2Purrs were marvellous with her.



I had been concerned how she’d cope but I needn’t have worried they looked after her so well that when I came back for her she was cuddling into one of them and giving her slobbery kisses.



I can not recommend them highly enough.

We have been taking Tara, our 10 year old Westie, for a couple of years now to Grr's2Purr's for her grooming. They have seen her going through two major knee operations and was ever so careful with her, understanding her struggle to stand. They did a marvellous job in blending in her short hair on the operated leg with the rest of her body. We cannot thank them enough for keeping our girl beautiful despite her problems. Their store is also nice to visit and we have bought many items from them in the past. Always a smile from them and high-quality service at all times. We love this team and their good work.

We have been taking Dustie our cockapoo to Grrs2Purrs since she was 12 weeks old, she turns 2 next week. We go every 6 to 7 weeks and she always look lovely. India and team always listen to what we say about how we want her cut and freely offer advise how to keep Dustie’s coat in good condition. We always find the staff friendly and Dustie is always happy when we leave her.

Ruby was very nervous today but she came out bouncing and very happy. Instead of a scruffy teddy bear she now looks like a fluffy teddy bear � thanks!

Pebble our cockapoo has been going here for nearly 3 years now and India and the girls know exactly what to do with her. They trim her just right and always take extra time and attention if she’s got knotted ears - which unfortunately does happen!



She cuddles into their arms when I drop her off! Excellent groom every time and we couldn’t be happier.

Our little fella, Baxter, is always well looked after (as are all the other dogs I see there) and looks lovely when he’s been groomed. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I’d thoroughly recommend Grrs2Purrs ��

Our little Jack Russel Aggie has been coming here for a year or so now, she was a little unsure at first because she is not very good around strangers but now she has got to know the girls they have become her friends and she trusts them, they are so good with her and she is always so happy to see them and loves being pampered, thanks so much girls for all the work you do, it’s much appreciated, I highly recommend them.

Our golden doodle has been coming here since she was a puppy and had her first “puppy trim”. Being a cross bread and with a very curly coat, the team make sure the cut is suited to her and to us. They listen to what we want and also give advice and what they think this is right. I’ve seen and heard some real horror stories at other groomers, but not here. I like the fact when you dog is groomed and waiting to be collected, they are not put in a cage or tied up waiting, they are happy to socialise and the get the attention. The other beauty of this place is that you can have a coffee next door while you wait! My dog always looks and smells great and is happy when coming out! The team are really patient with nervous dogs and nothing is too much trouble.

Ps...the shop also stock some great gifts at reasonable prices!!

Our boy always comes out happy with a great cut. Love that you can see in while the work is being done unlike most grooming salons. Thanks guys!

My one year old Lab is very demanding and hyper. The ladies know exactly how to handle him! I trust them completely with him. He loves seeing the ladies. They do an excellent job with him even though it is impossible to get him to sit still!

Monty, my Sealyham cross has been coming to Grrs for about a year. As he isn’t a full Sealyham, the ladies have adapted the breed cut to suit him, which looks really cute.

Monty is always happy to be dropped off and left, and always looks gorgeous when I collect him.

I like that he isn’t caged in between stages, and he always seems happy when I pick him up. His cut looks adorable, and even though I am moving quite a way away soon, I’m still going to bring him here.

I’ve always (from his first ever groom) taken my little Cavalier to Grr’s2Purr’s and they do a fantastic job every time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!! Lovely and helpful staff and super little shop.

I have two labradoodle's 6 months old first visit to Grr's to purrs - will defiantly be using again they looked and smelt amazing the girls did a fab job. The pups came home worn out and happy xx I have been using Grr's to purrs previously so really had no doubts x

I bring my neighbours golden retriever George every 4-6 weeks to be groomed, he loves to see all the girls and always looks great when we pick him up. You can tell they all love their job and love the dogs too.

Highly recommend them have brought my cockapoo for a few years now. Even my parents travel up from London to get their dog groomed every 6-7 weeks.

Great team who look after my 2 year old border terrier so well - he loves going and hates leaving!



As a border terrier he needs to be hand stripped so a good few hours job - not sure how they keep him still for so long - but he always comes out looking (and smelling!) like a different dog! Recommend anyone who needs their dog hand stripped to try here.

Charlie our Lhasa Apso has been going to Grr’s to Purrs for a few years now. They give him a great puppy cut and the staff are really friendly. Communication is good and he always smells great after a cut, wash & groom.

Been visiting Grrs2purrs for sometime now, and have always been pleased with the team. They spend time listening to your requests, you are not rushed they stay calm with your pet at all times, they do fabulous haircuts and I've never been disappointed, would recommend them to anyone who needs this service. �

Been taking my dog here since his first groom, he enjoys his visits and especially all the fuss he gets from the girls, he always comes out looking so smart and smells amazing! Always pleased with the service and the the warm welcome from all the girls :)
