A UK Civil Aviation Authority Approved Training Organisation for PPL (A) & LAPL (A), based at Cotswold Airport, Kemble, Gloucestershire, UK.

In September 2013, a group of friends and flyers ranging from PPL students to airline qualified pilots toyed with the idea to form a new flying school and aero club with an ethos of reasonably priced flight training in a friendly and open atmosphere. 5 months later, the Gryphon Aero Club received the permission of the Civil Aviation Authority to commence operations as an Approved Training Organisation.

Gryphon Aero Club offers flight training from Trial Lessons to PPL and LAPL flight training, night ratings, licence renewals, refresher training, and our Chief Flying Instructor, John Griffin is highly experienced in teaching pilots with disabilities.
