Many thanks Gwilym from Wet and High Adventures Ltd for running the NNAS Tutor Course on Saturday. It was a well run course with lots of ideas for me to use in the future.

Three great days guiding clients in and around the Cotswolds for @WalkWise.

First Aid is a key skill to keep fresh and up to date. Many thanks to Lou at Vixon Climbing for an informative and fun day on Sunday going through the key 1st aid principles with myself and friends from the Avon Mountaineering Club.

Great to walk again with WalkWise UK Ltd Nice to see some familiar faces, meet new people and spend time with Gideon. We completed a great loop from Symonds Yet [West] to Monmouth via the Chain Bridge and Naval Monument. Muddy under foot in places, but the rain stopped as we started our journey!

A few days ago I walked out to the lighthouse in the Serra Gelada National Park with family. Two days later I walked the length of the park along a cliff-top path that ends in Benidorm. It was a stunning walk along an empty trail that ends at the edge of one of Spain's busiest resorts. The contrast between the amazing natural environment and the chaos of the city was striking to say the least!

A few days ago I was walking with friends in Shropshire. It's a great county to walk in. The pictures are from the Wrekin, but there are lots of other great places too. Let me know if you either want some ideas or guiding.

A great weekend guiding for WalkWise UK Ltd in the Exmoor National Park.

Let's hope the weather forecasters have got it wrong, else it will could be a wet weekend for the clients being guided in the Exmoor National Park. Over 17mm of rain expected on Sunday morning; I best pack a waterproof jacket!

Day 2 of the TMB and the weather is still great. Lots of interesting things to see on the way to the Refuge du Colvde la Croix de Bonhomme. Thanks to Di Brooksbank for the info about the route further on.

Day 1 of the Tour de Mont Blanc is going well. It started with an early start in Bristol and has ended at the Auberge De Bionnassay. It's in a beautiful spot in the Alps facing the sun.

User

Tour of Mont Blanc next week. Let's hope the weather stays fine.....forecast suggests I better pack some waterproofs!

User

Two weeks of day hikes in the mountains of northern Spain

Stunning day guiding in the Picos de Europa. Hot above the treeline, but cool in the shade of the Beech and Oak forest.
