Black Forest Day 4: #blackforesttour Our last day in the black forest ended with some spectacular scenic rides and another blast up the B500 then through the Nord Vosges Park which was equally amazing. Last day today, as we head back to Calais.
Managed to get through to the end of 10 days touring with a leaking clutch (topping up with hydraulic fluid daily) and a missing indicator which blew off on the motorway day 1
... We did have a few riders miss drop offs but thankfully the back marker was on the ball and the group reunited quickly

Went on my first tour Vosges 5 day tour, I have only been biking for just over a year and wasn't quite sure what to expect, went with a friend of mine, but great to meet a whole bunch of new bikers. Had a fantastic time, loved it, had a mixture of weather and the B500 was foggy, but that just means I'll have to go back and ride it again. It was great experience, Tour Leader Snips, was an excellent guide and looked after us well. Made some new friends and am now looking at which tour with GMT. Thanks Peter

We recently joined the Novice Tourer tour, although I prefer to call it New Explorer. My husband and I both ride and had done a couple of short trips abroad, but this tour was excellently led by Snips and takes all the strain out of following your sat nav and sourcing accommodation. Snips provided expert guidance and was professional, attentive and unflappable. Having a guide meant we could take in the scenery a bit more, and it was useful to follow his lines along the twisties! We didn't have the best weather conditions but that made it all the more challenging, which was fun. And don't worry if you're a lady - there were 3 on our trip. I thoroughly recommend the tour and we hope to be travelling with Guided Motorbike Tours again.

Just got back from the Vosges/B500 tour which was guided by Snips. Had a fantastic time with wonderful people on some great roads. We had a mixed bag of weather from sunshine heavy rain low cloud and fog. I arrived at the hotels every night tired as It has been a while since I had spent that amount of time on the bike. However I had a grin from ear to ear from the days riding.

I only have one minor complaint which was nothing to do with Snips or the GMT as everything was well organised and ran very smoothly. However I didn't order the lettuce that the restaurant put on my plate with my steak & chips!!!! Already looking at what I can book next

I went on the Vosges/B500 tour and had a Truly phenomenal Journey, First time in 30 years riding abroad and Craig "Snips" made it so easy and is a Fantastic Guide, All the hotels were great in there in own way, Riding all sorts of roads in Blazing Sun and Rain and low cloud was an Amazing experience, Ill certainly be booking another tour soon, hopefully a longer one, To say I've had a fantastic riding Trip would be an understatement, Thank you for making it a truly great experience and making some superb memories for me, Well done "Snips" and everyone at Guided Motorcycle Tours for making it so easy, see you soon, Keith Grace
