A few changes on the bar today and for all those on Stoptober we have beer minus the hops, malts and yeast.😁

Making his Guild Ale House #Sundaysession debut, we have the talented Daniel Mahon. This acoustic solo artist is sure to attract a good crowd so get yourselves in early for a good seat. #livemusic #preston

Bring in the new year a little early at The Guild Ale House. With live music from the always amazing Phil Ireland, it's sure to be a great afternoon to finish off 2018.

User

Come down The Guild Ale House for what's sure to be a crackin afternoon of live music. Not a carol or jingle in sight, helping you forget about the stress of the silly season (at least for a few hours)

User

Another fantastic afternoon of live music from our house band. Booze and Blooze with a splash of Rock. The perfect way to spend your Sunday afternoon

User

awesome place, great staff, cracking atmosphere and best of all just beer and nothing else

User

We had a lovely 2 hours there lovely ambience great beer especially the Bristol blonde we will definitely go back again.no music or tvs so nice for a bit of conversation

User

One of my new favourite places for a tipple - an excellent selection of beers and ciders, friendly staff and patronised by customers who appreciate decent beer.

User

Me and my mates always call here for a pint of German Lager when we are out in Preston Centre every other Saturday...It's a top pub, good beer, good service, comfy place .. We even had free cake last time we were in..

User

Lovely staff & great atmosphere especially when they have live music on! Love the ciders of the week which you can try before you buy!

User

Great when you remember to forget what it used to be before being a pub, which usually occurs after the second pint. Happy little haunt, and upstairs quite palatial with those big backed leather chairs which tempts one to say "I was terribly drunk at the time" as in the Fast Show.

User

Great selection of ciders for me and sister in law, great selection of beers for hubby and family, comfy seats, nice place to sit and chat without having to shout over music, keep up good work guys

User

Great place. Great beer. Great staff :) really fab atmosphere too

User

Good little micro pub with a good selection of beers and ciders

User

Good beer, good company, good music, excellent staff.

User

Go at once. Sunday day they have live music and it's standing room only. Why? Great beer, great people in there, great people running it, proper music. You'll love it.

User

Fantastic place. One of (I'll not say the best, as Preston has a couple of good real ale houses, but maybe equal to) the best real ale haunts in Preston. Friendly staff and welcoming watering hole. At least 8 cask ales, not sure how many keg, many bottled beers and ciders too. Just wish my local would serve proper ale now.

User

Excellent beer. Last time I visited it was a quiet Sunday afternoon and it didn't quite tick the boxes. Yesterday it was much busier and the atmosphere was good. The upstairs room addition is superb. Felt like I was in another age. Well done and keep it up

User

Definitely one of the best places in Preston. The beers are always spot on, the staff are good and there's always a warm atmosphere. If you're in Preston it's well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

User

Brilliant Beers from around the world

Nice atmosphere and comfy seats

Gary is one of lifes true gentleman and has taken a big risk with his venture so go in and support a local lad and not a huge mega company.

You will not be disapointed

He even does wine for the ladies

A proper landlord

User

Been in a few times since it opened and always seem to spend the entire night in there! Two minor criticisms 1) please please please turn the lights down.its so bright it burns your eyeballs. 2) a clear pricing guide is needed as the ales on the board usually don't reflect what's on the bar.Apart from that -great atmosphere and great beer.whats not to like?

User

Always good ale and good company, plenty of choice on the bar you can't go wrong

User

A pub that's got back to basics. They don't have bells and whistles, or gimmicks, but they do have a fabulous variety of independent beers which rotate regularly. Weekdays are easy and relaxed, and upstairs is a sanctuary from a busy city centre. Weekend evenings are lively without being chaotic. Gary, Jane and Kev are always warm, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts which sets the tone for the friendly regulars and communal atmosphere. The Guild Ale House sticks to what matters and does it well, and leaves the rest to others. Congratulations on your 2nd anniversary and long may you continue.
