Bestselling author Kate Wiliams has just been added to the line up at Wimborne Literary Festival.

Our shops are held together by a legion of wonderful women and we're thankful for them daily. They are strong, smart, sassy, sympathetic, super women all with a love of reading. Westbourne Bookshop are raising money again to try to get a copy of Lost Words into every school in Bournemouth and Poole. Last year you helped us raise enough money to provide a book for every school in the Dorset County area and we'd love it if you could help again.

A new Lost Words campaign starts today!

Today is the day. Is your child dressing up? Are you? We'd love to see your pictures in our comments! There have already been loads of vouchers exchanged but we still have plenty of stock. (Did you know that your local bookshop actually pays for the World Book Day books so that we can give them away in exchange for a WBD token? Bookshops are great like that!)

We have taken so many tokens today! Get in quick because once they're gone that's it.

We were there for a book signing of Buddy the War Dog. What an excellent evening especially as £1 per book is being donated to the Labrador Rescue Trust by the author.

Visited Gullivers this evening for the first time as for one of their literary events they hosted an evening & signing event with author Ben Kane. Lovely evening & the staff were wonderful. Made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Will look forward to future events hosted by them :)
