Would love to thank the amazing staff here for letting me bring my daughter to her first gig and a very special one too (the courtesans ) as it’s her adoptive aunties. amazing venue amazing staff who made sure we was ok and checked in with us, couldn’t recommended this place enough xxxx

I visited here on a cold December night to see Courtesans. Reminded me somewhat of The Black Heart in Camden because the venue part was deep red although the chandeliers were a nice touch :) Staff were very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic not like you typical boozer. Having such amiable staff meant the atmosphere was brilliant before, during and after the gig (gig review to appear later on my page). Having had an horrendous journey to get there, 3 miles through ankle deep snow to the station and 2 trains, the greeting, banter and friendliness was much appreciated and I felt at home. As Arny would say "I'll be back"

I love this pub so much so reasonably priced, friendly, warm and great place to be and I particularly love the upstairs ballroom - such an amazing place and I recommend going there to see any theatre, gigs and all the fab arts they have on there, grab a few drinks downstairs first and after and you're in for a top night! I absolutely love the manager and all the staff and everyone who works there, I put on 2 Showings of my play 'Mind's A Labyrinth' and it was one of my very favourite experiences ever. Was amazing to buy loads of drinks from the bar, it really didn't feel like work, it felt great and relaxed and warm and that is amazing when you are trying to put on a big Show xxxx

Great venue sounding good and lighting better than some bigger venues.

When you go to see a band you want to see them not a fog and blinding lights so Gullivers has my vote.

I went into Gullivers on a Wednesday afternoon, it was quiet at the time but began to get busier as time went on. The place was very clean I noticed and the bar staff very friendly. I had a few beers as I sat in a little armchair in the corner of the room and I felt very relaxed. The lounge at the back looked cosy and there's the venue room upstairs reserved for live gigs and other entertainment. There is a list of events and live music taking place in the upper floor for the month ahead and no doubt there is something for everyone to enjoy on any particular night. Worth a visit, recommended.
