Just a reminder to all parents. Louise Pollitt the photographer is coming into nursery tomorrow morning. This time she is going for the more natural look by taking photos of your children whilst they are playing, doing activities or playing outside. She is coming about 9.30 and staying for a couple of hours. Please feel free to call in even if your child doesn't attend on Thursday's.

It's that time of year again folks .........Halloween!!
Just a reminder that it's not too late to enter our Pumpkin Carving Competition! We have had some spooktacular entries already so get carving! Entries need to be in by 31st October as judging will take place in the afternoon so still plenty of time for you to get your spooky designs to us. There will be prizes for the top 3 designs, First prize is a Free Day At Nursery!! Good Luck Everyone xx

Next week is going to be a hot one. Can all parents please bring sun hat and sun cream in. Also extra clothes as the paddling pools will be out. We might get the water slide out too if it is warm so can you also pack swimsuits. Thank you

Gummy Bears Nursery is pleased to welcome you to our new Toddler Room. Our new Toddler Room will be opening tomorrow. Big thank to all our staff for making the move go so smoothly and for all your input for making the rooms look fantastic, inviting and ready for the children to explore. We have now extended our Baby Room so now have a separate sensory area (Photos to follow). Thank you to all our parents too for bearing with us we are sure you will all enjoy the change. Would like to wish all our staff a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. Big thank you for making our new staff feel part of our family. Thank you for helping move our rooms around so that we could move our Toddlers upstairs, I am sure they will love it. 2018 is going to be a busy year with all our new starters. We are still recruiting still looking for that special person to fill our permanent position in our pre school room. The hours are 35hrs a week. Must be level 3 qualified and have a good knowledge of the EYFS. An opportunity has arisen for a Childcare Practitioner to join our amazing team at our nursery in Gomersal. The ideal candidate must be energetic, motivated, outgoing, friendly as well as loving and caring with a passion for helping children have fun, enjoy and achieve. It is very important that applicants have previous experience of working in a busy nursery as this position is in our ever changing toddler room where you will be working with our terrific two-year olds. Y...ou must have a good knowledge of the EYFS and be able to plan challenging and interesting activities focussing on children's interests. Applicants must be qualified to Level 3 or above and ideally hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a Food Hygiene qualification. Following a very emotional week at nursery, we would like to say a huge thank you to all parents, carers and children who are leaving us this term. We have received so many special gifts, lovely cards and many compliments, which have all made us feel very proud and much appreciated. We will miss you all very much, but we know that your children will all do very well at "BIG" school. We are so pleased that some of your children are already booked in with us at Hilltop and we look forward to seeing you there in September. What a fabulous day for our Pre School Graduation. All the children looked lovely in their cap and gowns. They always look forward to seeing Mrs Tipsy and as usual she didn't disappoint.
