Wow a fantastic night. We'd read the reviews so were looking forward to this and it certainly lived up to expectations, but without the negative comments. Maia was brilliant, professional, helpful with advice and great fun....we loved her. We're very lucky in Huddersfield to have such a mix of restaurants from around the world. This one fits in perfectly. Thank you �We'll be back.

Went for a joint family birthday. I have nothing but good things to say about the food and the service. Lovely food, freshly and promptly cooked, and the staff were wonderful, both attentive and knowledgeable about the food. We had a great time, would definitely go again.

We've had take aways from here and decided last night to go and eat in, we were not disappointed!! The restaurant is very nicely decorated with the tables not too close together. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful with nothing being too much trouble. The food was amazing and so reasonably priced!! Will definitely be back and cannot recommend enough x

This is the first time ive been went with my wife her son and my twin and her husband ,I do go to indian restaurant's quite a lot this was the best indian food ive had for quite a long time keep up the good work I live in Lancashire visit Huddersfield real ale pubs quite a lot next time I go again to Huddersfield I will call again

The best food in the uk. Tastes just like food in India. Got to try this place.

The Sunday buffet is fantastic value for money at £5.99. The house wine is nice at £10 as well. Don't know how long it will be this price but if you want something to eat on Sunday you won't beat this �

Nice little restaurant. First time there yesterday and definitely wasn’t disappointed. Food was delicious. Staff friendly attentive but not overbearing. You were left to enjoy your meal. They were quick to attend to anything you needed tho. Can’t fault it from start to finish and excellent value for lovely food. Definitely recommend and we will return �

Great curry with friendly, efficient staff. Highly recommend for any away fans travelling to Huddersfield. First visit but will definitely be back with Chelsea FC (provided Huddersfield don’t get relegated). �

First time tonight and was pleasantly surprised, quite a small place, but spotless throughout. Staff were very friendly with a bit of banter, and very attentive. Food was superb, and I was very surprised with the the mushroom pilau rice because that was as tasty as a main course in itself. All in all, we will be back, not surprised this little gem is #1 on Trip Advisor for Huddersfield Indian meals (on the search) �

Excellent, totally excellent, beautiful food, friendly staff, chicken tikka starter, chicken madras mains for me, fish tikka starter and chicken Kharai for wife, naan breads each, Ice cream deserts for us both and a bottle of very nice red wine, £42 .... .. was expecting to pay half as much again, quality usually comes with a price but was impressed with the food and more impressed with the bill. Thank you Gurkha sizzler and many thanks to Sonya and her staff.

Highly recomended, will tell everyone we know in Huddersfield about this real gem.

4 of us visited for the first time on Saturday, we were accommodated even though we hadn't booked, fantastic meal and staff, will definitely be back.
