Took my coeliac allergy very seriously, was really helpful when ordering my food. The waiter was very funny and attentive! Lovely atmosphere � will definitely be returning!

My husband and I had a fantastic evening at Gusto, Knutsford last night. I’ve been going since I was a child and the atmosphere, food & service is always faultless. Thank you for looking after us and making us feel special, every single time.

Food was absolutely out of this world and the service from Roger in particular made our evening! Great venue �

First visit to Gusto, Knutsford, and certainly won’t be the last. I have to caveat this brief review with the fact that we dined on the 50% offer, which makes it extremely affordable, to the point when you are almost embarrassed to pay such a low amount when the bill arrives.



The layout and decor of the restaurant sets a relaxing and welcoming scene, which is further enhanced by the excellent service.



The food is exceptional. We recommend the Deli Board to share and any of the steaks.

We spent a good 3 hours or so in the restaurant and it flew by. It was even capped at the end of the night with a great rendition of Happy Birthday from the team for one of our party.



A special mention and thanks to Jake, and the rest of the team for looking after us (party of 6).



We very much look forward to visiting again later this month and thank you for helping to make it such a pleasurable evening.

Fab place, excellent service, staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. Food is superb. Would recommend and if we lived closer this would always be our restaurant of choice.

We popped in after visiting at Macclesfield Hospital

And on route back home to Preston I googled Italian restaurants in Knutsford and when Gusto came up it was the obvious choice. With my Daughter and Grandson we had a warm welcom good friendly service and excellent food, which I have come to expect from the different Gustos I visit. Thank You 😘

Excellent always good with great service , just a tad on the loud side last night .

Early table booked at 615 it wasn't that busy plenty of empty tables yet we were led downstairs to our table which is little better than a cafe style area , not what I expected in this area ! Asked to be moved back upstairs which they did all be it shoved right at the back out of the way , upon leaving surprise surprise all the front of house tables were full of pretty girlies and model type couples you can guess what I mean ! My money is the same as anyone else's and I refuse to be treated as second rate in this jumped up snobby area on the the plus side the food was good but I shall not be returning

Olly!!! the waiter clearly needs to learn some manners and learn how to treat customers when there’s a problem!!!! very abrupt!!!!

I have visited Gusto in Liverpool a couple of times and overall the experience was quite pleasant.Visited the Knutsford one Sunday with my youngest son,his lovely partner,a ten year old,a seven year old,a five year old and an eight month old baby.Just the kind of family group Italians adore.We booked for 1.45 and arrived at 1.50.No member of staff came anywhere near us for at least five minutes.Then toldd that they were waiting for some customers to pay before we could be seated.We all moved to the bar to have a drink,when my son was eventually served he asked for a beer,the beer was then plonked down and the waiter went off without asking for the rest of the order.

Our waitress,(not Italian,in fact I heard no Italian voice during our visit,authentic?)was cold and brusque.The service was very slow and bordering on unfriendly,if you don’t want children in the establishment don’t do children’s deals.I very much liked the decor,good menu and wine list but goodness me the staff really are a major let down.Badly led or badly trained or both ?

I live in Chester and have frequented Piccalinos well over thirty times,great warm welcome by all the staff (mostly Italian).I will vote with my feet,plenty of choice in Knutsford.

First time in knutsford gusto, normally go to Alderley edge. Although the food was good, the service was poor. It took a long time for someone to take our drink order, then it took another 15minutes for the drinks to arrive. We were about to get up and leave. The drinks were dumped on the table and the waiter walked quickly away. The food order was eventually taken, again the food took a while to arrive. Will go to alderley edge next time.

Came up from Stoke on Trent especially to see reindeer parade and lights switch on. Booked table for 3.30pm however table not available until 4.15pm. So by time we ordered and ate food the parade had finished leaving our 1 year old very tired, bored and disappointed. Food was nice but they shouldn't try and fit too many bookings in if they can't cope.

After a visit on Saturday two of us had prawn tagatelli which was very sweet, which spoilt the dish. Our grand child had fish and chips, the quality of the fish was not very good. We have been regular visitors over the years and this is the first time we had felt disappointed. The service however was very good.

We visited this evening for our daughters 5th birthday and advised this when we booked. She was really excited about making her own pizza but when we came to order they advised us that they didn't allow this after 6pm- she was really upset (nowhere is this stated on menus or websites). We are gusto members and booked online through the diners club to get 20% discount- when we were given menus we got a set menu which we thought we would try- then when the bill arrived we were told we could not have our 20% because we ordered from this menu- this needs to be clearer as the staff would have know we were gusto members when we were seated. The chicken with gnocchi was dry and bland and the gnocchi was as hard as rocks. The staff did absolutely nothing to make my daughters birthday special! We were seated on a high table and chairs with a 5yr old and a 2yr old which was not brilliant especially considering the restaurant was half empty when we arrived. The wait time were also really long considering the restaurant was not busy. We were really disappointed with our experience and when we raised this with the manager he wasn't interested.... not impressed at all!!!!
