'Tom Jones' will be here shaking his hips and entertaining you with his hits to get you dancing in the aisles. £15 per person. Food will be available on the night.

Back by popular demand, 'Elvis' will once again be in our building. £15 per person. Doors open at 7.00pm and the act will begin around 8.15pm. Music and dancing until late. Food will also be available during the evening and selected cocktails will be £5 each.

Featuring songs from Freddie's solo career as well as a few from his time as the Queen front man, this will be a great evening's entertainment. £15 per person.

Such a fabulous night had by all ..

Our end of year clean out has begun! Which means all of the many, many items of lost property we have collected over the days/months/years will be either donated to charity or binned (with the exception of recent things we have found). So if you, or someone forgetful you may know who has been to Hacketts recently has left without glasses, scarves, coats, bags, make up, hopes/dreams or paying their tab; drop us a message or pop in and see if we have anything

Christmas night with Dolly Parton tribute

had Meal in here Saturday eve two of us had steak deal other two had beef burgers fab food best peppercorn sauce I’ve had.

We used the venue for a private function and we were really pleased. The venue was perfect, the buffet food was lovely (lots of nice compliments from guests) and the staff were really helpful. We will eat here in the future and would recommend.

My husband and I have eaten here together on 4 evenings since November 2017. Each time we have taken advantage of the "2x steak and bottle of wine" meal deal on a Saturday night. Honestly, the best steaks in Witney. The staff have been attentive and very helpful.

I have also visited either on my own, or with friends, a number of lunchtimes and have never been disappointed.

I went with friends on a Thursday night and had the two courses for £15,it was so good!

Ben and Alex were great, made sure we had the best evening,even taking group photos for us!

Would definitely recommend it!

Great place for lunch - I pretty much always have the Cajun chicken & mozzarella panini with sweet potato fries & aioli, it's incredible! And they are one of the only restaurants that stock coconut water which is a total thumbs up. Great service too!

Great food. Great value. Very, very accomodating and helpful. Has got a lot lot better since my Last visit (and that was decent). I havent stopped raving about it to family and friends. Will definitely be returning. �

Great atmosphere when lunching with a girlfriend. Loved the background live music which hit just the right note. Couldn't fault the excellent food which was very reasonably priced. Service was extremely good. Top marks - can't wait to go again.

Good full English breakfast. Good value for money.

Friendly staff, easy for access from the bus or parking. Light and spacious. Good coffee and food. Reasonable prices.

Cocktails are amazing the staff could not be more helpful!! I asked for a cocktail which was not on the menu and they went out of their way to accommodate me

Came in for the 2 steaks and bottle of wine Saturday offer - definitely not disappointed! Can't fault the food or the service. Very good value for money, we will be back for sure!

Went for breakfast I have to say poor service poor attitude from waiters had to ask for cutlery and didn't get our cup of tea which was clearly stated on the menu disappointed and afraid not value for money any more. Will not be recommending used to be good but not any more

We were out to lunch with my son and his girlfriend my husband ordered medium rare steak and it came to the table cremated so had to be sent back my sons girlfriend ordered a sandwich and the bread seemed like it had been under a hot plate and seemed slighty toasted so was sent back my son ordered a sandwich off the specials board which was never worth the money I can remember when lovely crusty bread was served but now just seems like cheap bread

We have been coming to hacketts for many years but the food doesn't seem as good and not a vast amount of choice on the menu

The lovely waitress Lara took all our complaints on board and they were dealt with accordingly

When food isn't great if does put you off going

Possibly the worse lunch we’ve had here. Items on menu not available, food late arriving, some of our food luke warm. Told the waiter but he was like “oh sorry ...”. Don’t think we’ll be back for Sunday lunch again.

Went into hacketts today for a coffee and some lunch. One gentlemen politely asked us to put one pushchair under the stairs which we did. Another staff member came over and said there's wasn't enough room for us to sit with pushchairs and when we asked if there was somewhere else to sit she gave no answer. Said we would just go somewhere else so she shrugged and walked off. Never felt so unwelcome somewhere with a baby. Went to the blue boat who were lovely.

Take a wide birth if your wanting a decent steak with good customer service. 4 of us went in last night for our Christmas meal, ordered 4 steaks ALL of which wee very chewy... fair enough....but to be told "well unfortunately that's the pick of the draw we don't know what a steak is like until it's cooked and tried!!!" We wasn't offered another steak or given the option to pick something else! When we suggested picking something else from the menu we were then told it was 9pm and was quite late to be ordering something else.!!Certainly won't be visiting their again! Very disappointed.

Not good. Definitely gone downhill. Food came out raw, went bk to kitchen still under cooked so refused it. Resulting in me & hubby eating separately!! Waitress got dessert order wrong. Staff not knowledgable on menus. Extremely dissapointing as didn't get my Sunday roast that I wanted.

Leaving this for my wife.

She and 3 friends went in for an xmas get together for food and a chat.

They all had starters and then all ordered steak,

My wife said when she had a bite it seemed really tough and chewy, but she doesn't really complain much but the other girls Said there's was tough so she then realised it wasn't just hers so they complained how bad it was and the little guy that works there said well it is just luck if you get a good one.

Plus the steak was not correctly cooked, i.e., rare and not well done.

Anyway he said he would discount the starters off but one of the ladies there said "no it is the main meal we are not eating. He went off and came back and was very disgruntled and said ok he would take main meal off, they said could we have something else but he said no it's too late now.

And they didn't have desert because wasn't sure what to expect.

So all they have eaten is a starter. Disgusting customer service.

I work in customer service and would have replaced dish without any quibble what so ever.



More bad reviews to come as the other will be leaving bad reviews too.



In this day and age everyone looks on line for reviews so they can check if they want to go there.

Glass and tin foil found in our parties meals and no acknowledgment from management. Waitress very apologetic but management didn't seem to care and implied it was put in the food as 'it definitely didn't come from the kitchen'. I will be visiting a dentist after visiting Hacketts!
