Hacklands

Hacklands is a two-day festival and hackathon which first took place on 14 to 16 August 2015 at Hurst Farm in Crockham Hill, Kent. The event is run by the same team that brings you the annual Heroes of the Mobile Fringe Festival in Barcelona, Swedish Beers parties and the Heroes of Mobile series of events. With wifi across the site, a converted barn for the main hacking area, a covered entertainment space with grand piano, cow sheds for art and robotics, eCows, a woodland for walks and contemplation, an orchard for playing, a campfire for relaxing, a festival café bar and glamping, Hacklands promises to be a great weekend for technology enthusiasts, their friends and families. We hope to be back in August 2017 for more hacking and festival fun. We hope this will be the first of many festivals and events to come.
