Awful experience!! Total rip off, I paid £20 for two glasses for a very average wine, usually this grape variety isn’t expensive but here it’s £10 a glass!! It’s a cinema 😡 the wine was poured around the corner behind a pillar, it could have been the cheapest there would have been no telling. The bartender was totally clueless !! She didn’t even give me a receipt. Cinema is pokey and on top of it all the movie 🍿 was terrible. All in all total waste of money!!!

In many ways a good cinema, but the counter/queue systems needs work and Picture House should pay their employees the London living wage.

I don't get to go to the cinema as often as I would like on account of being a parent but when I do , the Hackney Picture House is my cinema of choice. A good selection of films, comfy seats, decent contemporary architecture, lively setting and a large screen. Ticks my boxes.

The screen one seats were so comfy. They can go back a bit as well.

Comfy seats. Nice big screen but the smaller screens are also good. Great cinema but the service at the cafe is sooooo slow.

My favourite cinema in London. Good food, great screens with comfortable seating, all manner of food and drink options and friendly staff. Did I say its pretty cheap too?

Nice building. Really comfortable cinema seating. Decent pizza at the bar. Full to the brim with hipsters.

This is a Hackney treasure, and it's easy to see why. There is a good mix of art/indie/blockbuster films showing at this cinema, with delish and artisan snacks beyond the usual stale buttersoaked popcorn you'd get elsewhere. The food in the cafe portion is really good; again, not standard cinema junk food, although burger-lovers will not be disappointed. Lovely teas, too! Importantly, the seats in the cinema are comfy.
