It's that time of year again. Christmas party season is almost here so we need to start getting the decorations up today. Here's Georgie, Natalie & Frances putting the finishing touches to our first of 5 trees. Think Georgie might need some help with that star 😂

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon celebrating parent's 50th wedding anniversary, with afternoon tea for the family (party of 16) in the top garden room and bar. The staff were efficient, polite and couldn't have been more helpful. The finger sandwiches, scones and cakes were lush and dietary requirements were admirably catered for. Nothing was too much trouble. I fancy going back with the hubby for one of the dinner dances and a cheeky sleep over. Hint, hint husband.

Went to watch the fireworks here yesterday with my other half and little boy. It was my little boys first experience of fireworks and I was very impressed with the display and even more impressed that there was an option to take the children inside where there was a dj etc... a very well run event and will definitely recommend to friends/ family. Thank you Hadlow Manor.

We had our wedding at hadlow manor on the 24th of June of this year and I had the most perfect day. Staff were attentive and were very amenable. The room we stayed in was maybe a little old school bit still lovely. Food was delicious. I'd definitely reccomened this hotel to anyone thinking about getting married here

User

We got married on Friday at the Hadlow Manor. It was amazing!

The setting, the staff, the food.....It was absolutely perfect.

If you're thinking of getting married, you couldn't choose a better venue.

We loved every minute of it.

A massive thank you to Rebecca! So efficient and nothing was too much trouble. You worked so hard.

The chefs! The food was fantastic. Everything was superb. Behind the scenes but so professional. I wanted to thank you all but you'd gone by the time I knocked on the kitchen.

The service. Andrea, Vinnie and the others. All so brilliant. Working tirelessly all day until gone 1 a.m. And good humoured throughout.

Sam who is the manager of this wonderful team. They worked the whole day seamlessly under your supervision.

A perfect day because of all of you.

User

We got married at the Hadlow in August 2013 and had the most magical day. Staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! Now every year we come back to celebrate our anniversary. We are made to feel so special by the staff opening a special area for us to dine as the hotel was full with a wedding and a private party, complimentary glass of Prosecco and catering to our every need. We look forward to returning next year xx

This was our 1st visit to Hadlow Manor. We booked in for Christmas day lunch. Well what a fantastic place with friendly attentive staff and superb food. The table was dressed really lovely and the room had a great atmosphere. I would strongly recommend going to The Hadlow Manor again, not just for Christmas but anytime. Well done to the staff.

Stayed here on Tuesday night as we had a family funeral. Whilst we was here my sister who is 34 weeks pregnant got really ill. All the staff there were fantastic but especially Rebecca peek who was an absolute star, ringing the ambulance and keeping the whole situation under control. She stayed with us until the ambulance came and even when my sister and mum went to hospital she made sure me and my daughter was ok. Would def recommend staying here as is a lovely hotel with amazing kind staff. Thank you so much for all your help. Also breakfast the following day was brill and staff all friendly. Rooms were fab and clean. Couldn't ask for more.

User

My sister and her new husband had their wedding reception here on Saturday and a few of us stayed overnight. The whole experience was great! The staff were so efficient and helpful if there were any problems with the food etc (always have at least one fussy guest!) getting the problem solved without making anyone feel that it was any trouble at all. The room was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was delicious and again the staff were wonderful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to visiting family and friends. Thank you

User

I loved it!! The beds were so comfortable and staff were amazing. Thank u for making my stay so pleasant..

User

Best place ever! Was there for Christmas and everyone was wonderful! The only issue was breakfast in the morning... SLOW! Wonderful food, but don't understand why we could not get tea or coffee for 20 minutes. There were only five tables. I and the kiddos took the cold breackie, but the the others had to wait 40 min for some eggs. I still give it five stars because it was wonderful, the people were awesome, just the morning breakfast (as an American) needs new management!

User

Stayed for a night with my partner, beautiful surroundings, very peaceful..didnt eat there but went to a local pub a few minutes away which was lovely and to see more of the area..

User

I attended a two hour evening workshop here, enjoyed the bar, as l'd arrived early, which was pleasant. The internal labyrinth of rooms and corridors on the ground floor was not clearly / particularly well sign-posted, but the whole place was very clean and the staff were helpful.

The workshop itself was good and had all the expected facilities, though having a party on the patio immediately outside the workshop was not the best planning.

User

We stayed here for our wedding night - the hotel is beautiful and the room was lovely although missing a few things I would have expected in a superior room, like bottled water.

It really let itself down with the breakfast though. Breakfast is served until 10 at the weekend. We arrived in the breakfast room at 9.30. There were no glasses for fruit juice and we had to wait ages for plates to be brought out for the cooked buffet. Some of the food items had run out, some of our party had no beans, mushrooms or tomatoes and we were told none could be brought out. We also had to ask for fruit juice to be replenished but at least we got some. The staff also didn't appear to be concerned. We were offered a reduction on our bill when we reported our concerns at checkout which was appreciated but for an expensive stay it was somewhat disappointing.

Service was great, prosseco wasn't in the fridge and was warm, Yorkshire puddings looked impressed but didn't taste that nice (noticed a lot of diners left them), puddings were amazing and the starter was beautiful lots of seafood, main course they run out of beef, chocolate brownie pudding, l which was suprising as the restaurant was fully booked you thought they would be more prepared. I had turkey instead which tasted great! Would go back again expecting better Yorkshire puds X

After having attended a Christmas party at Hadlow Manor, I’m really hoping that the person who picked up my Fitbit off the dance floor will do the decent thing and hand it in.its of no use without the code. Xx

11.03.17;

Lovely spring afternoon to catch up with friends and colleagues before an evening meal and entertainment. First impressions on arrival lovely building but reception staff not very 'positive' Unfortunately we were all squashed into an inside bar smaller than my kitchen with one member of staff manning the till.... occasionally !

It would have been an idea to maybe have some outdoor seating on such a nice afternoon in nice surroundings & maybe some extra staff on ? Lovely evening meal etc. But.... I accept being an old building it's going to be 'a little tired' but the room could have been much cleaner and there was an odd, almost chemical odour coming from somewhere ?

Bed mattress springs pretty much non existent !

Breakfast.... poor un-appealing buffet set up with no instruction from staff as to seating / serving arrangements etc. Although my serving of beans, bacon & scrambled egg was satisfactory I didn't ask for a coffee as the mugs could have done with a clean. The glasses for the juices were very dirty although I risked an orange juice using one! I had expectations of the venue that were sadly not met. I don't think I'd visit again sadly.

Room for improvement.

User

Was here 20th May 2017 for my cousins wedding - which was beautiful. Staff worked tirelessly. The let down was the accommodation. Our room was in dire need of modernisation. The bed was very 'springy', the cold tap on the bath was stuck and therefore had to use the shower head to cool the bath down.

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Our room looked like someone had been sat on the bed on arrival.

Breakfast was another story. Portions were 'rationed' and they ran out of food, leaving people waiting for breakfast.

Surely if you know the quantity of guests - you cater accordingly?

Food and accomdation aside, the building itself is stunning but very damp smelling in the hallway leading to bedrooms 301-312.

Not worth the discounted rate we paid.

Booked a night for a break away from home looking forward to a nice meal and a sit in the garden etc

We arrived early but when we asked where the bar was (12.15) we were told there was no bar staff but sit in the lobby and we will get you a drink ! We left and drove to another pub where we could relax although I couldn't have a drink as I was driving ,we didn't want to sit in the lobby were people were booking in etc not very relaxing! We went to our room and to be honest I couldn't see what I was paying £150 for twice the price of a premier Inn room and nowhere near as clean ! Room 210 has food stains on the carpet and table and the worse hair in the bath !

We were not given any information about the restaurant and nobody on reception to ask so we went out again and bought sandwiches and a bottle of wine to have in our room .

The romantic break I had booked for an evening meal and drink in the garden just went to pot ! I paid £150 to sit in a small not very clean room I could have stayed at home .

Breakfast was included but we had no idea where to go and by this time we just wanted away so we left drove a few miles and had a lovely breakfast at the toby !

Leaving was a chore tried to check out and the night porter had no idea how to do this so I had to wait for the day staff to arrive ! ALL IN ALL a waste of money !!!!

User

A really lovely venue, the food was very tasty and plenty of it. The staff were very attentive. Thank you for making my birthdays special and one I will never forget, thank you.
