Breakfast reading well underway. Although I’ve had to take a breather. My brain is working overtime on the summer menu @fortheloveofgame #fortheloveofgame With plenty of #wildgame around to serve the #hungry this summer I’ve found the perfect cookery book in the Silver Spoon. We #English have the most amazing #topography that we use for awesome shooting. Yet we STILL ship tonnes of our most precious assets abroad in exchange for quite frankly low grade meat/fish/veg/othe...r shite. In Italy #game is in season and available all year on the #menu #hunt #normal .. having sat around tables filled with men who try to explain to me that I am a #crazywoman #gimmick . Took these loins from roe today. Not the strip loin from the back, the internal loins. As a family we lurve these. Dipped in egg, rolled in Panko bread crumbs. Grated Parmesan, garlic salt and ground black Pepper. Cooked in olive oil for 3 minutes one side, turned, fried for 2 more minutes and left to rest for a few minutes whilst we set the table. #homemade #panko #fortheloveofgame #eatgame #spoilt #roe deer 🦌

Tuesday night tasty treats. The great debate #panko or #homemade or #golden #breadcrumbs all have their own characteristics. We’ve had them all over time. #thereisnoanswer #fortheloveofgame another easy meal for family. Roughly chop into strips 4 pheasant breasts, dip into beaten egg x 1, roll in breadcrumbs and fry for 3 to 4 minutes. Keep warm whilst other veg is on the go or sort a salad. #easymenu #supperisserved #shorttime #longgame #longongame
