haftke was founded by Mark Haftke in 2006 following almost twenty years experience as a lawyer in the City of London. In 1987 Mark was a barrister at 3 Gray's Inn Place (now 3VB), before he re-qualified as a solicitor with Russells where, as a partner, he conducted market-leading litigation in the music industry for seven years. Recognising the commercial impact of the Internet in 1995, he joined Bird & Bird and, as a partner in their IP department, he co-led their Internet practice for five years. He became a founding partner of KPMG's associated law firm KLegal until he was appointed head of the European IP /IT practice of WilmerHale where he was a partner in the London office before founding his own practice.
