My name is Hagit Izhaki, I’m 36 and I live in North London with my husband, our two daughters, and two cats.


My childbirth experiences - the first cesarean; the second vaginal - taught me that our body can propel a hugely positive birth experience and the magical moments that follow. This gave me a lot of inner strength and I wanted to help other women to have a better experience, and the birth they want. So I’ve reseted my MBA and instead of going back to work I’ve decided to go with my heart and become a Doula.


Being doula is my mission in life.

I believe it is important for women to understand their choices so they have better control over their pregnancy and birth. Much can be improved by providing women with necessary information, and harnessing the great capabilities of our body and mind. This is to complement modern medicine which is sometimes cold, calculated and impersonal.

Holistic Support System

Maternity and birth offer a great opportunity for both you and your partner to share a unique and miraculous memory that is yours and yours only. I’ve witnessed that often times the partner is left aside, not being part of the decision made and not being able to share great moments or support challenges. I aim to help you find your path in this journey together and to turn this into a meaningful and memorable time for you both, one that grows your relationship and strengthen it.



Optional - Doulagraphy

My hobby of many years is photography, a few of my clients asked if I could capture some of the magic moments of their pregnancy and labor, their reaction moved me. Doulagraphy is a vehicle to make you see yourself and your journey as beautiful and empowering and since then, I offer it to clients, as a complementary service.

My Qualifications:

Birth and Postnatal Doula course with Red Tent - July 2015
The course covered all aspects of birth, postnatal care and breastfeeding


My package:

•To meet for tea to see how we connect


•Focused meetings to discuss your birth plan


•Unlimited contact by phone or email


•Available over the phone 24 hours from two weeks before your due date until birth. I’ll be with you when you need me.


•Once you are 38 weeks pregnant and on, I guarantee to be within 1. 5 hour from home to ensure I’m with you in labour.


•Attending your labour and birth wherever it is, support you emotionally and physically throughout your labour until both you and the baby are safe and the little one is either bottle or breast feeding.


•Postnatal visit to talk about your birth, to answer any question and to help with feeding and any other issue you need.


•As a postnatal doula I am here to support you, empower you as a mum and help you with all aspects of life with a newborn baby.
