The Original Budweiser Budvar gave us these lovely tankards and we couldn't resist freezing them. #beautifulicycoldbud #seeyouatthebar

Wonderful night celebrating my birthday. Friends came from far and wide and we all had a great time. Excellent food and service, superb setting, what's not to love? Will definitely be back, can't fault the place xx

User

Went for lunch it was fantastic. 5 star all the way. Chloe the waitress was the best. We will be going back Thankyou

User

Staff friendly and the inside and outside space

beautiful

User

Very friendly and helpful staff, who made me and my dog feel very welcome. Food was great too. I’m trying to visit all northern Brunning & Price pubs, and this one didn’t disappoint.

User

Superb food & very good service!!

Best Dunday lunch I’ve had in ages!

Will definitely visit again

User

Lovely atmosphere, amazing food priced just right, great service and friendly staff.

Loved loved loved this place

User

Have eaten here a couple of times in the last month and can’t fault the place, there’s a welcoming atmosphere generated by the staff from the moment you arrive and remains with you until you leave, the food has been 1st class on both occasions and my wife and I are looking forward to dining here again in the not too distant future.

User

Had our engagement meal here last night with 48 people - everything was brought out together, there were no delays and rave reviews from everyone in the party. It was a perfect evening. Chloe in particular was amazing at ensuring everyone had everything they needed, and we will definitely be returning again soon!

User

Had our Christmas lunch here for the second year running, I can honestly say the food today was as good as last year.

Thank you to all the management, chefs n serving staff for a great meal n lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Enjoy the rest of your Christmas.

User

Gorgeous place great staff amazing food beautiful surroundings loved it

User

Fantastic food, beautiful building and great service, they also allow dogs which is great for walkers.

Massive gardens too if you don't want to sit inside.

User

Booked a table for 6 with some trepidation as have not eaten here in years. However what a great experience, staff are efficient and welcoming, choice at the bar will leave you spoiled for choice no matter what your favourite tipple is. Over 50 Malt Whiskies!

The food; execellent, good size portions and reasonably priced.

Every bit as good as The Inn at Whitwell.

User

Attended for lunch and had the salmon and cucumber starter followed by the chicken and finished off with apple and blackberry which are all great dishes and the service was excellent and they offer a loyalty scheme

User

Wonderful setting, great food & excellent service. Wish i lived closer so i could enjoy more visits. Especially loved the sausage roll you can buy by the inch. The only thing that stops me giving it 5☆ would be the price.

User

Haighton Manor is a fabulous place with fabulous staff who are always very friendly and helpful. We are so glad that it has become our 'local'

User

From the outside looks quite imposing. Inside looks nice and cosy. Warm fire welcomes you just inside the doorway. Plenty of rooms for dining. Not a lot of people inside, although I expect it gets very busy. Meals we had were very good. Little bit on the dear side but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend.

User

Food was good but a little disappointed with the roast potatoes that appeared dry, and with the soup starter...having the margarine spread with the bread.

User

Lovely staff, pleasant ambiance....shame about the food .....again! Roast Beef lunch, dried up roast potatoes, soggy veg and gravy like tar.? I said to the waitress that the roast potatoes look like deep fried, she said “no they’re not, but I agree they shouldn’t look like that” the menu is not the same as website, there is nothing healthy. Try this place about every six months but doesn’t seem to improve.

User

Beautiful setting , lovely staff, nice selection of cask ales, the food ...well I despair. Morrocan Tagine had never seen a tagine it was all separate items, virtually no cauliflower or chick peas, mainly couscous with 2 deep fried courgettes therefore didn't resemble the description on the menu, but the worse thing no hint of middle eastern spices just an Italian flavoured tomato sauce. The linguini with prawns is done better in my local Italian at half the price and in my kitchen, very disappointing quality and quantity for price charged. The quiche was bland and tasteless. My trout was beautiful with nice potatoes and wilted greens but it was swimming in butter far too much and left me feeling quite sickall night, shame as it was a nice piece of trout. The dessert menu looked uninspiring except it had my favourite crème brulee .The Chacuterie board was excellent. Overall very disappointing I would give it another go because of the beer, ambience and good service but probably stick to uncooked barsnacks, .
