I cannot recommend this place highly enough. My colour and cut were perfect, the staff are lovely and the products they use are all organic/divine. Thank you to the lovely manager who gave me some gorgeous samples to take with me! I'll be back.

Since moving to London, I've always had my hair cut at Hair by Fairy. It's very affordable and the queues always move very quickly.

I was very impressed with today in particular, as I had my hair dyed for the very first time. I was well looked after and was given plenty of advice on what colour would suit me (I was getting a crazy colour, so didn't know where to start). Ended up with really cool bright purple hair - I LOVE IT!

I would definitely recommend this hair salon!

Love this place. Been coming here for years. Always friendly, always courteous. It's a cool, buzzing place but it is not a Toni & Guys nor does it pretend to be. It's exactly what it says on the tin

Only come here if you want a very basic trim. When I sat down the hairdresser didn't even talk to me to ask what I wanted before cutting into my hair. When I explained, they didn't understand at all and seemed to have no confidence in their skill or creativity as a hairdresser. Communication was very poor and I do not feel I came away with what I asked for. I am growing a pixie cut out, so my hair is going through an awkward stage. I'm sure this would be a fine, cheap place to have your hair cut if you had a simple, long hair style and just wanted a quick trim. But if you want anything which might require a bit of creativity or skill from the hairdresser, don't risk it. Even £20 was too much to pay for what I had done.

I visited in the morning around 11am with no appointment. But the queue moved really fast I didn't have to wait long at all. Service was good. My hair is damaged towards the end I came for a haircut to get it trimmed. It was a simple style but I really like the end result and the price was very affordable (£20 for wash cut and blow dry) compared to other hairdresser in London.

I went in on Thursday with loads of pictures of what I wanted and the hairdresser didn't listen to a word. I've got a completely different cut to what I wanted and even when I told the hairdresser not to cut the layers as she suggested she went ahead anyway. AFTER the hairdresser herself commented on how short it was...yes, and nothing like what I asked you to do! Horrible cut and really dated style. Extremely disappointed. i was then charged £35 for something I didn't want. Won't be going back. Overpriced and embarrassingly underskilled.

Note: Shampoo is literally just shampoo and does not include any hair drying. This will cost you £20 extra. I am not referring to a blow dry with style. I am referring to having dry hair when you leave the salon.

Also note: cash only but should not an issue as when you call to make an appt, they let you know.

The hairdresser I had could not understand what I meant by having a lighter cut and insisted on charging me for volume for a blow dry. Another hairdresser had to step in and give me layers. Yet another different hairdresser had to agree with me that the lengths on both sides were not even.

Friendly and affordable. I've been coming here to get my hair cut for the last few years. The guy at the front desk knows me now and always asks how I'm doing. There seem to be a lot of different stylists but they all appear to know what they're doing and I've never had a bad haircut from any of them. At the time of writing it's £16 for a men's hair cut. There are definitely cheaper places but I keep coming back because I know they'll do a good job!

I came here on Friday evening just before 6pm. There were two ladies in front of me but the queue moved sooo quickly.
The service was super fast. The European lady that did my hair cut was nice.
The haircut was great – though I had to ask her to cut more to suit the style in the photo that I wanted . but she was willing to work to what I want.
For this low price, please don’t expect a lot of time to adjust the hairstyle. I felt a bit rushed but for the price I have paid, I think it was worth it!
