Hairware Ltd

Hairware limited is primarily an importer and wholesaler of high quality Revlon ladies wigs and hairpieces. It has its origins as part of a company called Floridan which distributed a variety of products including wigs, hairpieces and costume jewellery. In 1994 the assets of Floridan were acquired by the Tenens Group. Tenens recognised that Hairware was a viable part of the Floridan business which could be operated on a stand alone basis, with the advantage of having the exclusive rights for importing and distributing Revlon branded wigs and hairpieces. The remainder of the Floridan business was put into liquidation in 1995 with the sales director retained by Hairware and appointed to the position of M. D. Hairware has proven a successful acquisition with revenues rising until reaching a relatively stable plateau over the past 2-3 years. Hairware is based in leasehold premises at the Howard Tenens Europa Park estate in Swindon. The company employs a staff of 19 (including concession shop staff). Hairware is a successful company which won Revlon's International Distributor of the Year in both 2001 and 2004. In March 2010 Hannah Ashton took over Hairware and has since expanded Hairware's offering to include a range of Hairware own brand wigs as well as the established Revlon Range.
