Halcyon Gallery

Spanish artist Ernesto Cánovas employs a multi-layered practice of painting, drawing, printmaking and photography. By combining the vocabulary of Pop Art with sources from old and new media, he successfully produces evocative artworks that draws the audience in, and to reflect on their own memories, feelings and impressions.
His new collection 20th Century Chrome is a continuation of this, building on the themes and techniques explored in his precious exhibitions, it is an impressive and moving series.

The exhibition spans the last two decades, showing how Young re-contextualises the imagery of popular culture from the second half of the twentieth century onwards.
Taking his inspiration from Pop artists, most notably Andy Warhol, Young uses Pop art’s bold visual language to give the images a new immediacy in the present day.

Santiago Montoya’s series “Let’s do the Numbers” references a numerical theme found in the works of 20th century artists such as Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns and Robert Indiana.
The series uses international currencies to define each number by its colour combination. These numbers, ranging from 0–9, can be seen as a unique consequence of human endeavour including chance and luck. (2015, paper money and stainless steel).

Superstar takes over MAM from 30th October 2018 - 6 January 2019.
Spanning the last two decades it includes work from his stunning ‘Diamond Dust’ series to his large scale screen prints inspired by the Great American West.

Dale Chihuly is a prolific artist who has pushed the boundaries of contemporary art for the last five decades. His magnificent glass sculptures are on display across the world and you can see his work at our gallery Harrods.

11,000 ceramic poppies were first installed in 2014 at the Tower of London ‘Blood Swept Lands’ and ‘Seas of Red’ and marked 100 years since the first full day of British involvement in WWI (1914-1918).
Following a four year tour the installation is now installed at the Imperial War Museums in London and Manchester.

Oh boy, what have I been missing! What a great Gallery like a fabulous museum. I went to the Dylan exhibition yeterday and loved it. I am from NYC but have been living in London for many years, and I'm ashamed to say I had never been to the Halcyon before yesterday. The pieces of ironworks were a real surprise....who knew?! The staff were friendly and helpful even though I was obviously not buying anything, and I loved the layout and how the exhibition is hung. I will definitely be going again in the future.

I went in to see the new Bob Dylan The beaten path exhibition and loved it. The gallery is really beautiful spread across a couple of floors and every member of staff i encountered was super friendly, answering all the questions from visitors, giving it a really welcoming atmosphere even if, like me, you aren't there to buy pieces as a a collector, but as a Dylan or art fan in general. Highly recommend the experience

I strongly recommend a visit in their galleries - they feature a variety of great artists - super portfolio and really friendly and very professional staff! After a visit in their gallery, my mind was inspired and felt like a full color palette and a new fresh white canvas I wanted to tackle!

The gentleman working there today when we came in was absolutely amazing - he was very passionate about his job, and was so kind to tell us the background of the sculptures we were admiring.
