Halcyon Retreat rests within the heart of France in the Limousin region, known as the French lake district. The site benefits from 220 acres of stunning French scenery, flanked by an arboretum and with the most amazing views over our lakes.

We also benefit from being only 40 minutes drive from Limoges airport that receives flights from over 11 UK airports throughout the year and being only 5km from a TGV train station, so we are easy to reach from London with just one change ...in Paris.
The concept of the resort is to create a 4/5 star experience for families who love the idea of a Center Parcs (i.e. facilities for the whole family and the ability to spend quality time reconnecting with their family in a beautiful, natural environment) but are looking to feel special, in a high end resort as opposed to a number in a 3 star holiday factory.
The resort has three key centre pieces
1. A Louis 13th style Chateau that has been fully renovated into a four star hotel and recently received a Michelin star 2. An 18 hole golf course (construction starts in two months) by Weller Designs www wellerdesigns.co.uk 3. A stunning 16th century turreted Chateau that is being converted into what will undoubtedly be one of the finest spa’s in Europe.
We also have a plethora of other facilities, such as four story indoor play centres and all of the cycling, jogging, fishing facilities that you would expect from our location. We are currently constructing apartments within the grounds that range from studio to three bedrooms.
We are delighted that the main restaurant in our Halcyon resort project has been awarded a Michelin star after only 18 months trading. To my knowledge, this is a first for our industry.
