Long summer nights give us the best sunsets

Its important to be extra vigiliant during this dry spell.

Lovely sunset tonight, it looks like we're seeing the smoke from Saddleworth...there's certainly the smell of it in the air.

Not sure of the origin but circa 1939...great photo. We've not seen many from this period.

Beautiful

This is why you HAVE to put out a campfire...the fields and our home are at risk from the wind fanning the flames...dont get me started on taking your rubbish home.

So many lovely photos of the wildflowers

Any Park Run fans, here's your chance to do the most picturesque one of them all.

What a beautiful place . I was bird watching with my husband and was surprised by the amount of bird life in the estuary and in the hedgerows. We even spotted a pair of skylarks!

Went on my bike thru hale village along to the conservation point and turned right..went along the muddy path to light house. Great views on a sunny day. Came back thru back of village and to Speke. 40 mins there and back . Loved it.

Took a few visits to Hale shore and the lighthouse , nice walks around that area on the coastal paths.

I decided to take my dog for a walk and I have never been to the lighthouse and thought I would go for somewhere different to walk. The day was beautiful and sunny. We had a lovely walk looking at the wildlife and the senery. We saw butterflys, bees, wrens, herons just to name a few, oh and we saw a few planes coming in to land too. Will be definately coming back for another walk, maybe next time venture a bit further.
