Halfords

Popped into Halford's a couple of weeks back and bought a new radio for my car, the lady who served us was very helpful with both choosing the correct one and then booking an appointment for it to be fitted. When going back again to have the radio fitted, it was done very quickly and neatly by a young lad I believe to be named Luke (and the previous lady I mentioned happens to be his Mom). After a few days I realised the radio fitted wasn't holding its memory properly so I took the car back to Halford's and Luke sorted it out straight away very quickly without any extra charges and apologised many times as he had gotten two wires mixed up. Although there was that, all staff who dealt with me were very polite and helpful and I would definitely recommend going there from the great service we had.

Its a great shop however they don't have much variety compared to other halfords all in all its a great shop

Would have been 5 stars but on this occasion I reserved 2 items on the website turned up and they couldn't find them but website showing in stock.

Well laid out store, very bright and airy and with items easy to find. The staff are very knowledgeable about a whole range of products and their application but particularly seek out Luke, who has a good all round understanding of the products Halfords carry.....

Rude unhelpful staff - poor service

Went with my children recently to buy them cycles. Though the shop was not very busy, this particular member of staff was most unhelpful. I needed some idea about whether the cycles will fit in my 4X4. This person was dismissive, refused to help in any way. When I wanted to see the manager, he returned claiming to be the assistant manager and changed his tune - trying to show how helpful he was. He was also very patronisng. Overall a most unpleasant experience. I wonder what was the reason of his behaviour. To be avoided.
Looking at the other reviews - some customers appeared to have received good assistance. It was our luck to meet the 'employee of the month'!

Good stuff for bike spare part

Convenient for auto accessories-not the cheapest but good choice

I went today to replace Sony stereo into my Renault car ..
great amazing n REALY REALY help full staff I seen m soo impressed with there help wish u the guy very very best hu install stereo in my car .... BIG THANX TO SELLY OAK HALFORDS

Decent selection of tools at a somewhat reasonable price, but for the very technical questions to do with bikes, the staff are often less knowledgeable than you'd expect. More replace than repair
