Manager was great helping me decide on the beat bike in my price range for my son and let me pay a deposit to hold it

The guys in the bike department are really knowledgeable and helpful (if not short staffed)

The only good thing about this overpriced place is that it's open for longer hours than the smaller, better shops.
Only went in for a £3.50 headlight bulb, that cost me £10.
The staff are totally useless and know little about cars, and the computer is just as useful.
They couldn't find my car on the system so, I had to go back to my car, remove the bulb, and return with it to get the correct one.
Then, I had to wait in the queue, to which, I was next.
Nearly 10 minutes later, another member of staff finally opened the second till, and, with the old bulb in hand next to the new one, I was asked if I wanted to pay extra for them to fit it!
Useless, totally useless.

Called in on the 23/8 @ approx 19.20 for a headlight bulb for my wife's car , I've got to give credit where it's due the two members of staff that I dealt with could not have been more helpful,courteous and polite. Despite not being able to fit it due to the design of the car both members of staff gave superb customer service . I only wish I had got their names so I could thank them personally. Good customer service needs rewarding so thank you both.

Called in this morning to the bike department to see if I could have my wheelchair tyre and inner tube replaced, none in stock but that didn't stop the young lad from ringing round to see if he could get one sooner, He went that extra mile for me, and for that I'm grateful.

Popped in to get headlight bulb fitted thought I'd be waiting ages but not at all. Staff was available straight away and it was all done within mins. Yes you pay extra to get it fitted and if you can do it yourself it's much cheaper but we have a citreon C2 and it's very narrow were the bulb has to go ..hence whoever designed it assumed people with mega small thin hands would buy it ..but guy at halfords sorted the bulb and fitted it ..so for me it was worth the cost just over £7 for the main bulb and about £7 to fit ..happy customer.

Popped in with a problem with my bike, 5 minutes later it's fixed and I'm happily riding home. Polite and efficient service.

Bought a Nextbase dashcam 402G 9months ago and not had any problem with it then decided to buy one for the rear window so bought a different model had nothing but trouble so returned it Halfords staff were very good about it so bought another 402G this one was fine for s couple of weeks then it decided to act up and I found out that it would not turn on sometimes and the clock would reset itself to 00.00 and the calendar would go to year 2000 no good if you needed evidence in an accident claim so I returned that one but when you take returns back to Halfords they seem very put out at you returning items I read on Nextbase web page that said problems could have been internal battery as my original one can be switched on without plugging power lead in but the second one would not so if anyone wants two buy one check it out st the shop that it will power on without gather power lead even if it means them put a bit of charge into the battery
