Halfords

SIMON. Thankyou, so much. I brought my bike into store on a Sunday afternoon, thinking I would have to leave it for a week or two. But SIMON fixed it straight away. It took 5 minutes. My bike is electric so I thought it would be complicated, Simon made it look so easy. Amazing person, worker. Wow! Very happy customer. X

I took my sons stunt scooter back as all the bearings had failed (wheel and coloumn) to the bicycle hut upstairs, there was a young lad who said yes they have a 12 month warranty and went off to talk to a supervisor (older bloke with tattoos) about it as he was unsure of how to deal with it. The supervisor came over and from the start was very defensive stating that because the scooter had scratches on it (it's a stunt scooter) he doubted it would be covered and he was being a complete a**ehole about it! Unfortunately I didn't have the original receipt and he said even though the receipt was emailed on purchase there was nothing he could do! I came home and found the transaction on my bank statement and decided to go to Pride Park instead of kingsway and was served by Simon who is a credit to Halfords as he dealt with the scooter complaint fast and immediately replaced it for a new one! So I think you need to send your bike hut staff (kingsway) on a customer care course and be more like Simon at Pride Park as he was above 5 Star.

We went to Halfords at Chilwell yesterday to buy a new sat nav and we were greeted and served by Darren who was very helpful and friendly, he took a lot of time going through all our questions and he was very knowledgeable about all the products which allowed us to feel confident in our purchase. Whilst Chilwell is not Darren's normal store, he welcomed us as we arrived in the store which was very nice and he showed excellent customer service skills. Having been in sales and customer support services myself for many years, I felt that it was only right to acknowledge his very worthy customer service skills.

Called for 2 rear light bulbs to be replaced. During the course there was was an additional electrical connection issue and thanks to Elliot the technician, problem was resolved. Elliot showed great patience and will to resolve at all times treating me as a valued customer. Well done Elliot!

I have found the customer service better than it was before. Happy to see they take customer complaints seriously.
I needed a Tom Tom sat nav and they were very helpful, even though they were very busy.
They had it all done within ten minutes.
