Had what I wanted but had to search for it. No assistant approached me to ask if I wanted any help.

Never had any problems,at all.I have been visiting store,for at least a decade.They have assembled bikes.Replaced,and fitted parts for bikes,and cars.they often give advice on how to maintain bikes,ensuring safe operation.Store is very easy to navigate to locate items.Sometimes,shop is busy,but that is to be expected.Always my first choice,for a variety of things.

Great service when you go to collect a delivery, and staff very useful when it comes to bike knowledge. Range and pricing is also balanced. Overall great shop and easy access.

Booked in for a Air Conditioning recharge. Arrived at designated time and told that job would take an hour and a half. I agreed that this would be ok as I wanted to some shopping locally. Returned on the 2 hours from drop off and calmly told that they hadn't started the work yet!! I enquired as to why they didn't call to let me know and just got a blank look and stream of irrelevant excuses. At this point I asked for my keys and politely left. If there was a zero star option they earned it!!! Never again.

I broke down and the recovery guy identified the problem as being the battery. I went straight to Halfords, where re correct battery for my car was identified and fitted within 10 minutes, enabling me to get on my way to work! Excellent service, thank you.

Great advice on car accesories

This store treats their customers like they're owed something, bad attitude and worse service. Asked for new reg plates to be printed was told no due to no stock; the website said everything was in stock and the member of staff made no apologies, he then directed me to an alternative garage that was closed. Had nothing but trouble from this Halfords, I would recommend going 7 miles down the road to Cheltenham where they actually assist you and are polite.

I find it very expensive and not enough staff to assist you...i was quoted £18 for a set of wiper blades. 10 minutes up the road i got the same wiper blades for £14 and fitted for free. I was in and out within 10 minutes.. Top that Halford

I brought a bike for myself and wanted something to go with it to take my daughter on rides with me. The man who served me was great. He weighed my daughter and explained all my options even helped me with the excessories. He had a great deal of knowledge, was friendly and seemed to want to help. He ordered the bike as they didn't have the colour and chose a day that I was off for me to pick up. With any store go when it's less busy, that way you get the service you want. Very happy customer
