Poor service snnoying music rude staff. Never again

I wish other people could be as customer focused, friendly and helpful as these guys... they've stayed open for me to the last minute, advised me on car parts, helped me try tools to match, helped me with my car in the dark... I found some new friends.. thank you guys for all your help - see you again soon, because if I'm going to burn my money on my car, I'd rather do it here than anywhere else!

Awful customer service. Arrogance, that's just the surface. No free staff to purchase a bike, so I asked for assistance at the front counter. The attitude of a young man was I should take myself to the bike department. Having already had no joy there I declined this option, and replied do you mean Julies down the road? I started to walk out, Thinking that was the end of my visit, but I was wrong. The employee continued to say, in the most uncultured, bad mannered way that I should take my money somewhere else. Now, while outside, leaving the store, as I was still being questioned, I did retaliate with some choice and uncultured offerings myself, justified as I had just been verbally abused. I can not believe that Halfords employ such ignorant colleagues, in a customer facing environment.
To the young man that didn't serve me, Please be aware, there are around 22000 unemployed people in Leicester and surrounding area, 1 of those would love an opportunity to work?

You get a mixed service partly depending on luck. One time I asked bulbs to be installed, which another branch had to fix. Other times the service has been okay to good

Lee at Halfords Putney Road went above and beyond expectations in repairing my Boardman bike. Great service.

Turned up today I was lost, Should have been somewhere near Coventry my phone wasn't charging so no satnav, baby screaming in the back I was totally stressed late for a lunch date. The man at the drive in put my phone on charge in the store identified the problem changed the fuse (while I was changing my baby in the back of the car) and also checked my stereo and confirmed it needed a new cd motor. Didn't charge me and said he hoped my day would get better. THANKYOU. THANKYOU. THANKYOU. THANKYOU THANKYOU. And IT DID :-))

Some very rude staff and never around to serve you, or they avoid you knowing your going to ask them a question, too busy joking around and putting the phone down on customers (yes I seen this happen when one member of staff did it as a joke to show off to the other one think he was trying to impress her lol), perhaps something to do with it being a student area and employ only students? Well stocked store and always something there when you need it, shame about some of the staff. Certainly not the same as Abbey store who seem a bit more professional and willing to help and answer questions. I do my research before I go, buy and leave. If its something a bit taxing for my bike I go to the Abbey store.

Had a radio fitted. Couldn't be fitted on the day and was booked in at a time I shouldn't have been but the staff still made sure it was fitted and did so very quickly. Staff was extremely helpful, informative and friendly.
