Very busy at times not alot of staff on the floor but hen you get there very helpful and quick to serve and help

Halfords seem to be employing rude people all over. No one was helpful enough and seemed as if they did not care about my presence and my enquiry.

Tried to contact the Bike department a number of times, when I eventually got through the next available mechanic appointment was in 8 days. We have a plan to cover labour costs but my son can't wait this long for his bike to be repaired. Popped into different cycle shop they fixed the problem on the spot.

Needed to buy a childrens bike and tried 3 of the independents in Colchester but they didnt have what i was looking for. Was dreading calling Halfords as they are usually so busy but was dealt with really quickly and made the reservation there and then. Collection process was as equally quick so they've clearly improved! Good service

Does anyone ever answer the phone there? If you don't want to pick up the phone dont advertise it. Terrible customer Service.

If you order a car part that Halford s have to order advise just go to Europarts yourself, this is where the parts you order come from, but Halford like to try and charge you a delivery fee to there shop as well, Europarts deliver cheaper to your own address, better still I would highly recommend motorspares direct thay are very helpful and know what thay are really talking about, Halford staff don't really have a clue, but will still try and sell you things you don't need, if you complain about them it goes on death ears, not all Halford may be the same but every one I've been too are the same, I've also seen them fit one headlight bulb in an hour and half, I've fitted the same bulb in the same vehicle in less than 2 min, my advise is avoid Halford, over priced cheaper elsewhere, just look for yourself, save yourself your hard earned money

Took my great niece to have her car seat checked the guy who served us had been trained in the safe use of car seats excellent knowledge of this he informed us of the regulations Round this .He then checked the seat which was in the car then weighed and measured her told us her seat was safe but had to remove the head rest.would like to congratulate Halfords on this wonderful service and there staff would recommend this to anyone.Thank you so much

I use Halfords a lot as and up coming mechanic I have brought tools and car parts and the service has always been brilliant always very helpful and polite have never been messed around with orders or tools /life time guarantee All round a great shop/company
