Halfords

Terrible. If I could leave 0 stars I would. The Catford branch reminds me of an episode of Beadles about, except their not joking. Not only does it take ages to buy anything because the store is run so inefficiently but Products are expensive and very poor quality ( Halfords own brand). Well known Branded products are very expensive compared to other motor factors like unipart or euro car parts. Staff know very little about the products they are selling in the shop. Avoid!!

Dwayne & Marlon was extremely helpful, informative & cheerful in their assistance. As I was a little anxious when I arrived about my car.

I have had bulbs fitted by Halfords twice and each time they have not aligned them causing my mot to fail. If you want bulbs fitted go to your local garage.

Very excellent service. Good for the disabled , access no problem. Always help at hand for the car and buying things with good advice.

I tried to ask about some details of the bike what was interesting me, no chance. Everyone busy, at 11am Thursday? I spent 30 min for nothing.

What a terrible terrible shop. This is the perfect example of how NOT to do retail. Long checkout queues, staff who ignore you to do who-knows-what when all I want to do is pay and go. An absolutely excruciating experience. I'd rather have my teeth pulled out than spend another Saturday morning in this place. But what makes me the stupid one is that I spent £200 here - what an idiot! Mind you, the guy in the Bike Hut couldn't even sell me a reflector for it! Worst customer service EVER.

Waited an hour to have a headlight fitted. The 'engineer' that fitted it had no idea what he was doing. £8 per bulb what a joke.

Understaffed. Lack of help. Waiting time was ridiculous. Left before getting the fitting I'd paid for. The fitters were having a gay old time chatting loudly while doing the square root of bugger all doing a car battery fitting and a single brake light for other people - work I've had done myself at other halfords and has taken a third of the time.

Good service from the staff. The plus is the location.

An update from 04 Dec ... Have been asked to go to an independent shop get my cycle repaired due to lack of trained staff by Joe from the cycle shop. This is possibly the 3rd time I have been turned away. I will possibly never come back to Halfords unless I hear something has changed.

I went there to buy a bike I had seen before on the website. When I was there the bike was there and I just wanted to buy it so the staff told me that I needed to wait for three days or five depending if the bike was there or not... so apparently they were not allow to sell that bike that was on the shop... funny... instead they sent me to the local shop as they could sell me the bike on the day... to be honest I could not believe what I heard
