Very thorough brake check & clean. As they couldn't find anything wrong there was no charge. Very good customer service - which encourages customers like me to come back!

Had a problem with the car tyre low pressure warning light coming on whilst visiting Carlisle. I was passing this centre and called in to ask for assistance. The technician checked all the tyres and did locate the one with a problem. He put more air into this tyre, and then made the comment that the brake pads were very worn and needed replacing. The car had had a full 25,000 mile service at a Ford garage the week before, when the brake pads were described as 40% worn and not a problem. I thought the technician's comment somewhat concerning and decided to have the tyre repaired eleswhere.

Five star service, the staff were so helpful and thorough, they checked all possibilities that they need not have done, can't fault them

Booked my Audi A4 for Major service on line, process was very easy and received an instant confirmation. On the day of the service I dropped the car off in the morning and was greeted by very friendly staff on my arrival to the garage.
The service was meant to take 5 to 6 hours but the technician found few bits of work that required urgent attention and kept the car for nearly 3 days with no extra cost to complete all the required work.
What I found most amazing was that when I asked the staff to change the timing belt and water pump kit they came back to me after checking the condition of both and told me that it doesn't need changing, 10/10 for honesty and integrity in my opinion as these days it's hard to find people like that, huge credit to the staff at the Carlisle garage!
The car is 15 years old but post service it drive like a 2 year old car, so spot on Halfords Carlisle!
I would defiantly recommend this garage to anyone I know and will take my car back in next year for sure!
In my view Trust and Honesty displayed by professional people which very hard to come by now days have made me very happy and satisfied costumer!
