worst service in a shop in a long time, one uniformed member of staff cut off my question to repeatedly tell me he only worked stock and not to ask him anything , the next staff member yawned at me wandered over showed me the wrong item and said " thats all we got " and shuffled off, i did look for a manager but no luck ...... well done Halfords

Purchased a few products for my car here and found this unbelievably easy.

Halfords even installed it which is no easy talk in my Ford KA.

This took them a long time (through no fault of theirs) but they still managed to do this and didn't think about giving up once!

Purchased dog guard - staff fitted this free of charge and were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. These can be tricky to fit and being able to have it done for me was much easier than buying online, since there are multiple parts and they come in different sizes.

Extremely poor quality products. Theres a reason "They cant be beaten on price" and that is becuase whatever you buy will have a limited use and existence. I bought a premium water bottle from them a few days a go and it has a hole in it. So that's probably a record! Not even one use. And they neglected to email me the receipt like requested so I cant even get a different one. I beleive they call it false economy. The stuff is so poorly made you'll end up buying so many of them you would have been better off buying the top spec piece anyway!
