Halfords - Bristol Store

Had a query with existing purchase which required technical assistance. Request made over tannoy 3 times by cashier nobody came so gave up after waiting more than 30mins and left.

Took my car here to get a new stereo fitted. All seemed fine but then I had problems with the alarm going off randomly. Garage diagnosed as a problem with the stereo, so took it back to Halfords. Great after-sales service. They had no issue with looking into it, and they eventually discovered the steering controls were taking a slight draw from the battery even with the ignition off. James did a complete re-fit of the stereo and replaced that part. Been fine since. Only thing they're not so good at is answering the phone when trying to book in.

Very helpful chap went to great efforts to sort out the rear wiper on my old Landy.

Arrived to pick up a click and collect order, items hadn't been delivered to store - not the first time this has happened to me. Combined with a previous poor visit where headlamp bulbs were fitted incorrectly, my shopping experience is regularly disappointing.
Sadly, without much competition, I'll inevitably return at some point pfft!

Normally find Halfords to be very hit and miss.

Visited today with a.couple of worn pushchair tyres. Was seen by Rhys who did an absolutely fantastic job.

Highly recommended and would visit again.

Brought my sons bike here.

I don't have a clue about bikes but the nice crew upstairs explained everything I got his bike lock and lights. they put it all together for me and checked it all. taking it back in Feb for his 6 week free check.
my son was happy and loved his new bike.

Went down to Halfords today to buy a headlight and a brake light.....walked in, spoke to Nathan on the tills and he asked " What car "...I said " Ford Focus 2002" and he went over to the aisles grabbed the lights, rung them up and said " Come on then "

HUH???

straight outside, biff-bang-bong...job done!! literally five minutes for all three ( both brake lights needed done in the end )

do NOT let the bad reviews of other Halfords stores in Bedminster and around Bristol tarnish the reputation of these guys, and don't let them influence your judgement to go elsewhere.

Halfords in Ashton Gate....( thanks to Nathan, Ben and the rest of the guys and girls )....is absolutely first rate! NO fuss, no drama, no waiting, just top drawer, professional, friendly service with a personal touch.

Going back tomorrow for my wiper blades fitted....considering its all part of the buying service it would be stupid not too.
