Halfords - Havant Store

Not easy to contact the bike department by phone and not the cheapest place for repairs. However their servicing on bikes is good and staff both knowledgeable and friendly. I think they need to upgrade their till systems as there is an awful lot of faff when you go in to pay. I'd go there again so would recommend

Suppose to be a car shop they don't even carry a simple thing like a tin of gunk its a load of rubbish over priced best of going to a motor factors

They are very helpful and knowledgeable if you can just get them to answer their phone, all departments not answering at 1pm on a Tuesday !!!

Went in to purchase my sons first bike yesterday. Although there were 3 members of staff on the bike department , not one asked if I needed any help or guidance. After selecting a bike myself, I was asked if I needed them to build it or not. When I asked of it would be difficult to build I was told "no it's very simple".. after they went to collect the boxed bike I noticed their sign saying "if purchased before midday it would be built and ready to take away the same day. So I asked that they build it for me and was informed if I took that service it would not be ready to collect until 8pm closing at the earliest. When I pointed out the sign I was told "well we have a back log".. I then decided to admit defeat and take it myself to build to which I was left to carry the boxed bike down the stairs and out on my own with a toddler in yow... very very poor customer service!!!

The store is of open design on 2 floors accessible by lift.
Selling general motor vehicle items, spares and upstairs is the "bike hut" for...bikes. the staff are helpful if a little hard to find except the bored looking teenager on the till.
The whole place has a rubber scent to it, I love that smell !
I went in for 1 item and left with 2 items and found them to be a reasonable price.
I will go there again no doubt.

Excellent service. Was concerned whether the car seat I was hoping to buy would fit our car as our model wasn't listed on the maxi cosi website. Josh was more than happy to check with the demonstrator base. It fits fine and I am reassured prior to our purchase. Will continue to use this branch of halfords.

Large sized Halfords with a good sized stock however very underwhelmed with the quality of some things from Halfords. Their professional range tools are great. Their paint however is very very poor.

Martin the audio fitter is amazing. I was having an issue with my car stereo purchased in April, he diagnosed the issue within minutes and actually explained what it was, fixed and sorted in 20 minutes! Excellent customer service to regain my confidence in a previous bad one.
