I was served on Tuesday 7th Feb around 5pm by a helpful young lady who was being hassled by the 'duty manager' for her mobile. And wats app details! He teased her for not knowing which bulb I wanted yet chose to sit on the podium edge and go through his mobile phone. I felt sorry for the young woman having to endure that kind of harassment in the workplace in today's forward thinking way and considering the world has moved on since the 80s when I was first working, he was out of order, clearly she was not happy and he made my skin crawl with his attitude towards her and me as a customer! I shall not be visiting this branch again!

Very good store and good staff what will help you with everything.

A few years ago I vowed never to set foot in this place again, but my opinion has turned a full 180 degrees.
We were assisted by a lovely, amiable girl called Chloe, who started by refusing to hand over a bike for our daughter which we'd ordered the previous week from one of her colleagues.
This might not sound like an auspicious start, but she did it in such a professional and firm way we couldn't help but be impressed.
She then completely took over! For the next 20 minutes she showed us bikes, showed my daughter how to get on and off properly and eventually sorted us with the correct bike for £30 less!
She engaged with us right from the start, through our indecision right to completion.

Great little store. Friendly staff who are always helpful. What let's Halfords down is the we'll fit it prices. 'Really' is a thought I often have, £4.99 for a 2 minute job.
