Visited today and the grub was top notch as ususal. There was a bit of a wait for food but that was only cos there was a party of 10 being catered for. The manager removed the drinks from the bill as a gesture for the wait which i thought was great for customer relations ..... Brilliant effort from all staff concerned

Roast dinner was lovely loads of meat but more variety of veg would make it that bit more excellent can’t fault food or service recieved defiantly be back soon

Enjoyed a family roast today. Great food - huge portions! Great service, the waitress was very attentive to our young children. The garden is excellent for the children. Will definitely be going back

Above and Beyond! We were all so impressed with every moment of our visit today from start to finish. And as for the choccy Easter treats and crafts - amazing! The girls were so Egg-sited!! Thank you so much for making such an effort for us all xxx xxx ���

Ordered drinks and food half an hour later they asked if we wanted any drinks which they forgot food was good service was crap

Haven't visited here in a couple of years. Staff used to be incredibly helpful. Definitely a degradation in service now which is a real shame.



Our drink order got forgotten so had to politely remind. My drink was wrong, but instead of changing it I was just apologised to. Food was still quite good.



My wife was still eating but we were asked if we were finished and cleared the other plates away leaving my wife to finish her meal anyway.



Heard someone complain and then heard a few of the staff moaning about it behind the bar. Definitely felt a bit awkward sitting there.

Such a shame this pub use to be lovely. The service was on par with Fawlty Towers. Waited 20 minutes and had to ask for drinks then ask for menus. Then told them we were ready to order our food. When it finally arrived we were asked what sauces we wanted which we then chased up twice they finally arrived when we had almost finished eating. Our plates were eventually cleared and we then waited 1/2 an hour before chasing up the desert menu. Really disappointed in the service the food wasn’t good either. The whole place needs to be redecorated too.

Place looks ever nice. Unfortunately my cod a was served cold to me probably due to the 45 minute wait for my food. I can now see how they got only 1 out of 5 in the food hygiene expedition.

Really shocking experience. We had to actually go and get the waiter to order our drinks after 30 minutes of waiting. Meals come out in stages so we couldn’t eat together. It was more like a insect sanctuary than a restaurant. Desert come out wrong which when your only ordering scoops of ice cream is appalling. Then again we get the deserts in stages. The only time we actually got some good service is when we asked for the bill within 5 seconds we had the bill the card machine the whole 9 yards. I wouldn’t ever go again. Food average , service piss poor overall an shambles of a restaurant if you could call it that. Toilets were also dirty and disgusting.
