What’s not to love about Halfway to Heaven. Excellent location, Trafalgar Square, Charing Cross, The Strand and British Museum all within a 2 minute radius. This is what Halfway to Heaven is, the very centre of professional cabaret, fun, exciting and a good belly laugh. Go, and enjoy the performance and songs- you won’t regret it!

User

We had a brilliant day in the halfway yesterday..very friendly staff .hilarious show.definetly worth a visit.

User

Very friendly staff plus great entertainment

User

My first trip to Halfway to Heaven and really enjoyed seeing Krystal Ball and Time Lord Dr Woof. They really entertained us with their sharp wit, dialogue and mash up songs and really went down well with the crowd. Had a lot of laughs and hope to see them again.

I have been a regular at Kevin Walsh's karaoke for almost 19 years.. In that time have sen Half way to Heaven change so much . I can remember when they first stated having drag on Sundays. This was met at first with quite a lot of anger from the karaoke loyal following. Now many of the people who have been regulars are doing acts there self Son of a Tutu Victoria Sponge even Diane or lady D. to name a few.

I have seen so many people come and go and indeed comeback . i have because of Half Way made many friends many of them who live all over the world..

Kevin and the drag acts Chrystal , Kelley Mrs More Tanya Hyde Miss Penny Marta De Arthur Bet Rinse and many more have kept Half Way at the top of West Nnd gay entertainment..

As I have said been going to Half Way regularly almost 20 years cant think of a reason why i would stop.

User

I go every so often but it's one of my favourite places to go to. It captures an older fashion bar feel where everyone is friendly and you feel welcome, unlike most gay places in soho now days. Support our gay bars everyone if you don't want to see them disappear

User

Have been coming to Kevin's backing the stars karaoke for over 10 years. I have moved to the ME but whenever I am in London I always make sure to stop by Half way to Heaven and meet up with old and new friends. Great place fantastic staff always a good night in there. X

User

Halfway 2 Heaven is a fabulous gay cabaret venue in the heart of London where it's attitude free unlike some others nearby and you get the best bar staff manager in Heather at the helm come for a pint or a skittle bomb dear!! X

User

Had an amazing night. From Ange the barman indifference attitude towards us which I loved cause we won him over in the end to the show it was class from start to finish.... rapport with audience from Tanya Hyde is not for the faint hearted, that lady has a tongue that could cut lemons but a fab entertainer all night... will visit everytime I back in London

User

Great bar only 20 seconds walk from Trafalgar Square. Great drag shows, great atmosphere and really friendly staff. It’s a place that’s always on my list when I get to London.

User

First time last nite, been told to come in for a loooong looong time! NOW i wish i went there sooner, great atmosphere, lots of love am laughs everywhere, i felt like a regular within an hour and treated as one! Rare to find places like that anywhere! Get here and enjoy your nite away!

User

Can’t knock this place it’s such a laugh, saw Rose Garden for the first time in 10 years and better than ever! Lovely hideaway but opposite Charing Cross station, amazing!

User

Came for a social on Saturday with a group of friends, this is by far one of the best bars in London! Friendly staff all round and great entertainment with good priced drinks to top it off!! We will certainly be back... a lot! Thanks again!

User

As always one of my favourite bars to be in when Im in London. The Sunday experience was exceptional. The acts were first class. laugh a minute, sing along. Great to meet friends old and new as well as being served by some of the friendliest staff Long may Halfway continue to entertain. A big thank you to all x x x

User

Always an incredibly enjoyable and fun experience with all the favourite songs and the best acts. Crystal and Kelly are second to none!

User

Small comfy traditional gay pub!

Been to this pub a few times now. I've popped in on a Monday and a Thursday evening with friends and found on both nights karaoke was taking place. Had such a laugh and was made to feel very welcome by what I assumed where the "regulars". Totally attitude free, just a good old fashion gay pub... refreshing from the commercialised, 'attitude heavy' gay bars of soho. Half Way to Heaven suits the more muturer person but it presents a good mix of different people and characters. I had a straight female friend with me one night and she loved the placed! She really enjoyed the drug show (they are a couple) sorry can't remember the acts names!

The bar staff are a mixed brunch - some more friendly and socialible than others.

All in all I would recommend a visit to all out there!

Thanks for some lovely evenings Half Way to Heaven!! I shall be returning soon! 👍🏼

User

I had a fabulous time, the staff and punters were very friendly and welcoming.... lots of laughter and fun with good entertainment 🏳️‍🌈👍🏾

Was supposed to come here last night for a drink with friends at the end of my hen. My friend was told by the man at the door to 'get in the queue ', to which she replied 'behind who?' as there was no one else waiting to get in, therefore no queue! The doorman misheard this and thought she said 'fuck you' so we were told we were rude and not allowed in- the man then disappeared inside leaving instructions with the doorman to not let us in. Apparently this person was the manager. We asked to call him back to explain it was a miscommunication. He clearly realised he was mistaken, but didn't want to admit he was wrong, so stood his ground and insisted my friend did in fact say 'fuck you'. I asked for what reason in this world would my friend say that to someone when trying to get in a bar?? There was no reasoning. My mum was already inside having a drink and said she had no problems, so such a shame that a simple case of what someone thought they heard had to spoil the night. There was only a handful of us and we weren't causing any trouble. My friend was upset and felt that she had ruined the evening, even though she did not do anything wrong. I can see from other reviews that others have had similar issues, so obviously this wasn't a one off occurance...

User

Very disappointed we have frequented this pub on several occasions with friends and joined in the karaoke evenings but yesterday the barman after a couple of drinks would no longer serve us as accused us of being drunk! We were far from drunk and were enjoying the ambience and the other people in the pub we were talking to were shocked of their refusal to serve us. One of our party was gay and was really enjoying the evening shame it was spoilt by a barman who obviously took a dislike to us. There were no other females in the pub perhaps that was the issue.
