Went to see Ray Mears last night 14/11/17 and thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. It was my first visit to the Hall for Cornwall and I thought it was a lovely, small and intimate venue. The actual show itself was very informative, entertaining and very good value for money. Ray himself was excellent and very friendly meeting people and shaking hands after the show. I would definitely recommend this lovely venue and will certainly be returning for future events.

User

Went to see Guns OR Roses on Thursday night...... was absolutely brilliant!! Not only did they do an amazing gig but would like to say they are extremely talented musicians in their own right. Wouldn't think twice to see these guys again. .... Loved it!! Xx

User

Went and saw Guns Or Roses on Thursday night at this venue and what a fantastic show it was to see, to see a band like that in that setting was a complete treat. A chance to take in the atmosphere and listen to classic gnr tracks. I have read reviews of other people complaining about the language used. Bad Language used at a GUNS AND ROSES TRIBUTE... Jeez! Next you'll be telling me that water is wet! What person doesn't expect that in that setting.

I hope no one is put off from going and seeing this immensely talented and entertaining tribute band.

Check them out next time they come to town!

User

We went to see Guns or Roses on Thursday night and can only say what an amazing night, the band were quite simply magnificent, unfortunately there were a couple of unhappy people who left,I can only think that they weren't music fans, these guys work really hard to do what they do and can do without being slammed,..Do you it any better carry on..Just remember these lads aren't the real GnR,getta grip saddos, support talented musicians...hope to see them again Hall for Cornwall...don't let a couple of grumps spoil a full house of appreciating fans...Scottie Bennett,Bodmin.

User

We came to see guns or roses and it was a fantastic show, would love to see them down here again.

User

Totally awesome show by Guns or Roses. If you want to experience Guns n Roses as they were in the late 80s/90s, this tribute band is as close as you can get. I checked out loads of videos of Guns n Roses tribute bands in the UK and compared before i got my tickets for Guns or Roses and they are the best in the UK. Do not listen to the gripes from one or two moaners HFC, listen to the majority who enjoyed the show. My stars are for the group, they gave a quality performance from the first minute to the end.

User

Saw GUNS or ROSES on Thursday night, absolutely fantastic, brilliant show, they've got the GnR sound pretty much spot on. Me and my little girl loved it. Really hope they'll be back for another performance.

User

On Thursday I saw the Guns or Roses I was so amazed by the accuracy of Axls voice and the passion, liveliness shown by Slash. Everyone was just insanely talented, and sounded like a dream together. I was shocked the whole way through by the guitar skills and just the whole thing in general so similar the real thing! There was literally nothing I could fault about the show. They were entertaining, getting the crowd involved and I enjoyed every minute! Its so rare to listen to music like that nowadays, so real and raw with actual talent. It's very sad to hear they got some negative feedback, clearly those people don't know the sound of real music and didn't appreciate the hard work and dedication shown by the band. I really hope this doesn't affect them coming again to Hall for Cornwall because of people like me who would love to see them again!

User

Had a great time on Thursday with Guns Or Roses , a great band who put on a performance that would shame other acts , lets hope you have them back after the refurbishment..

User

GUNS OR ROSES last week totally rocked!! I was dubious about a tribute band but they were so much like the real Guns N Roses from Axl's voice, dancing and all other group members they were exactly like the real thing. I can't wait to see them again!!

User

Blood Brothers, Thursday afternoon. Outstanding on all levels. Expected the music to be wonderful, which it was. However, the standard of the acting was phenomenal.

A very special experience. Thank you.

User

As my first visit to Hall for Cornwall, to see Guns or Roses tribute act. It was an epic evening really enjoyed the whole night and experience. Would gladly pay to come and see them again.

Seems some people were not happy with their experience, I can only think they didn't know what kind of show they were attending!! yes it was loud and yes there was some swearing but any rock/metal fan knows that is part and parcel of it!!

Please don't let a few grumbles take away from what I saw and from the people around me what was a fab night.

Cornwall needs more of this genre of music and the guys from the band were a fab tribute act and worked bloody hard all evening.

The star review is for the band themselves, Hall for Cornwall not so much if you would ratgher listen to the few rather than the many!

User

Amazing on behalf of the @Gettogether-Cornwall crew we would like to say a massive thank you to all at the hall for Cornwall, Kernow King, Granville Saxton & all the sleeping beauty cast ... another brill christmas panto !!!

User

After last year's production of Dick Whittington,we didn't think this year could possibly top that. However, you outdone yourselves! Such a clever, funny full on show. The actors were brilliant, funny and very talented. Thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to seeing what next year brings. Right on!

User

5 stars for guns or roses gig amazing night sang along from start to finish my niece /sister and bro in law loved it too thank u guns or roses

User

This was my first visit to Hall for Cornwall since moving here in March this year. I was very impressed with the theatre and helpful happy staff to whom I spoke. Jive Talking was fabulous to watch. I will be attending on a regular basis 👍

User

The show was excellent: Milkshake. My three year old son and his two friends had the best time. It's all the little things that hold this place back from being 5*. The toilets are gross, the ones upstairs are so small/compact, the prices of refreshments are ridiculously overpriced and the greeting staff are generally quite miserable!

User

This is a good venue, organised well. Drinks and ice cream a little pricey! Have visited on many occasions and always had a good seat. This weekend we came to see the production of Tin Drum by The Knee High theatre. I had heard good reviews about the company but oh dear! What on earth was this production all about? Started well with an interesting story line but by the second half I had really lost the plot! It just went on.... and on.....and boy was it depressing! Sorry to say we left before the end.....

User

I was planning to take my Mum to see Evita for her 80th birthday, but your ticket prices are getting just too ridiculous- I paid less to see the show in London!!!
