Hallam Removals & Storage

We were moving a large 4 bedroom house 200 miles north to Northumberland. This included endless boxes plus my huge library of books. We went with Hallam because their quote was competitive and I liked the friendly and professional way in which John surveyed our house contents, and then delivered a quote within 24 hours.
John and his team definitely went the whole 9 yards for us, cheerfully and skilfully getting all our stuff into two vans, driving 200 miles and then unloading it all carefully and without fuss.
If you are moving house, definitely use these guys. Gill and I would recommend Hallam Removals unreservedly. Can't imagine how the service they provided could be improved in any way.

We used Hallam removals for both packing and removals when we moved house a couple of weeks ago. They were really professional and worked extremely(!!) hard. They came out to give a quote for the job before hand and didn't try to rip us off unlike some other removals firms who quoted for the same work. In the end we felt their hard work, professional attitude and the fact that they made the couple of days around our move as stress free as possible was worth much more than they quoted us! Would definitely recommend.

I have hired a few removal companies in the past but these come out tops. Hire this company if you want a perfect stress-free move.

I used Hallam removals earlier this year and I have to say that they made my move very smooth and stress free. John and his colleague were professional yet friendly and took care whilst dismantling and re-assembling my furniture which was extremely important to me. I would definitely use their firm again.

I highly recommend this company. Hallam Removals stepped in when our original company pulled out on the morning they were due to arrive. John and Scott arrived slightly early (excellent) with a 7.5 ton Luton van, laid protective floor coverings and immediately set to loading our boxes and furniture. Our first floor flat was emptied within 2.5 hours, and our new second-story flat was filled in another 2.5 hours (no elevator!) - an impressive feat. All of our belongings were well and securely packed, and arrived with no damage at all. Fast, efficient and careful, I would highly recommend and not hesitate to use them again. John and his team moved us in August. They turned up on time and worked very hard to get the vans loaded. Very efficient at both properties and friendly attitude too. Would highly recommend to anyone moving as they took the stress away and made it an enjoyable day !
