Hampshire History Trust

The organisational home of Winchester Heritage Open Days and Hampshire HistBites. We aim to promote and advance the rich and diverse history and heritage of the county of Hampshire by coordinating Winchester Heritage Open Days every September as well as setting up an annual festival of history that offers a range of activities, including but without limitation, re-enactment events, guided walks, lectures and talks, exhibitions and workshops, guided visits to historic buildings and children's activities. We also intend throughout the year to run free and low cost history and heritage educational projects for the public benefit such as our podcast channel ‘Hampshire HistBites' and a blue plaque scheme for Winchester.
