Hampton Court Palace

Through 4 different routes you will discover Edwards VIII scandalous life,Williams III apartments, the royal kitchens and chocolaterie, sit in the Great Hall, pray (!) in the amazing Crown Chapel.

There are two gift shops: one just past the main entrance on the left of the gate and another in the main courtyard which is the "Henry Shop."

For me one the most beautiful and amazing Royal Palaces in British history, it has some of the finest art in the world which is mostly 17th & 18th century.

Have a look around the public garden, there's a fantastic 'secret' garden with hidden benches.

During London 2012, this is the home of the Road Cycling Time Trial. During the race, thereвҖҷs a вҖңhot seat,вҖқ where the leading rider sits until they are beaten.

A magnificent Palace next to the River Thames is a historical attraction that was built for Cardinal Wosley, Henry VIII's favorite. Make sure to see the astronomical clock built in the 1540s.

Great cafes & shops, if it's too busy cross the bridge to the village, the best antiques shops there & a wide selection of eateries!

Don't be afraid to ask the attendants to let you through closed doors. There are some fantastic rooms off the normal beaten track.

This grand Tudor palace was built by Henry VIIIвҖҷs Lord Chancellor Cardinal Wolsey, but passed to the king in 1529. His 4th queen Catherine Howard is said to haunt the gallery outside the chapel.

The gardens are the best bit!
