Would 100% recommend. I messaged Alison about making a memory cushion for my dad for father's day with some very memorable pieces of clothing that were my grandma's, (who we sadly lost 18months ago) . When we lost our mum in 2011 most of her things were given to Cancer Research but two items of her clothing I couldn’t bring myself to part with a Cardigan she used to wear most days in the house and her dressing gown, these hung on the back of the bedroom door were every now and again I’d take them and wash them to freshen them up. Then I came across this site were the lovely lady makes these items from clothes that have a special meaning � I absolutely love what she has done to mums Cardigan and Dressing Gown. � Thank you so much Handmade with Love Oswaldtwistle. xx

What a lovely lady, brilliant and very fast service and great communication throughout. I would recommend the bears to anyone. Such a special memory to keep forever and they bring so much comfort to my children who have just lost thier grandma. I can't thankyou enough xxxxxxxxxxxxx

We sadly lost our dad a few months ago. Leaving a wife, 2 daughter an 5 grand children.

The younger ones have found it very difficult to find comfort and have often gone to bed cuddling pictures

We lost our wonderful Dad/Grandad 7 weeks ago, I had 4 Grandad pillows and 1 Dad pillow made,they are wonderful,we love them!! A Lovely lady made them and we will treasure them forever......I posted one to New Zealand and 1 to Thailand to my nieces,the lady at the post office said what are they worth.....Nothing to anybody else,but absolutely priceless to us!!! Was recommended by a friend. I dropped off my materials and a few days later Alison messaged a couple of days later saying that the bear was ready to come home.! My daughter loves it and calls it daddy bear! When she let's me get a good picture you will see the top quality work that Alison produces. Would definitely recommend in the future. Over the past few months I’ve had some lovely and creative things made by Alison. From Christmas hot chocolate cones to beautiful hats for the children. Our little bear has just arrived home after a long journey! I'm delighted- such clever use of an old uniform which will mean so much to my daughter as she leaves primary school. The quality of work is excellent, and was done within 2 weeks. Prompt responses to messages as well as the above means I shall certainly be using this lady again.

Alison made me 2 special memory bears, one for my mum and one for me after the loss of my nan and grandad. Both were beautifully made from their shirts and cardigans to an exceptionally high standard. If you are thinking of having a bear made Alison is a kind, caring and talented lady who does a genuinely fantastic job and I can reassure you that she takes the utmost care with your special garments. When looking for someone to complete my bears I was told by another lady that my nans cardigan could not be used as it was too open knit but Alison made it happen for me even though I know it was extra work. Alison made a teddy bear from my sons school uniform, the bear was given to my sons primary school as a thank you for all their help and support. The staff at the school were amazed with this bear, it is so well made and exactly what I wanted, highly recommend handmade with love for any special occasion gifts or keepsakes. 👍
