This is a great bicycle shop. I have brought three bikes from them and find their staff knowledgeable and helpful. They really helped me with a manufacturing fault on my Ridgeback, got it sent back and repaired. Any problem, no matter how small, is taken care of. Rowan and Mike are always available with advice and support. Best bike shop in the Southeast!

Called on Handsome Cycles last Sunday afternoon on our way to Bristol having left Belgium the day before. We had sustained 2 broken rear mechs and hangers just outside Hastings. The team were great, very helpful and worked all afternoon to get us back on the road.

Service was outstanding, and the cup of tea for the whole group was indicative of them going the extra mile for us.

Brakes were squeaking on my Pinnacle hybrid cycle. Initially they sorted that problem out, quickly and completely for £35. However, it was recommended I have the bike serviced, the cassette and chain and cables replaced totalling another £125.
Was not happy with the gear shifting.... Then the back wheel fell off! When I went back I was initially told the wheels aren't done up tightly on purpose, think the staff member was on medication.
After three return trips, at my expense in money and time, the brakes screech far worse than ever... Avoid this place at all costs if you care about your bike, they have destroyed mine, reduced my enjoyment of cycling in general, nearly caused me serious injury, took hours of my time and nearly £200....but they did give me a £3.99p water bottle as a good will gesture.
Avoid avoid avoid, dreadful, dangerous and dear.
