On Sunday 17th March we welcome The Flying Toads to the barn for a St Patricks Day Celebration at 7:30pm.
A highly entertaining concert of Celtic music and song, ranging from lively jigs and reels to heart-warming songs and haunting ballads guaranteed to keep your toes tapping! ‘The Flying Toads’ are a multi–instrumental band playing inventive arrangements of Irish and Celtic music. Their extensive repertoire ranges from high-energy songs and haunting ballads to lively jigs ...and reels. The name ‘The Flying Toads’ came about as a spoonerism of the Irish hornpipe ‘The Flowing Tide’. Being a four piece band and each playing several traditional instruments, the ‘Toads’ focus on arrangements that explore the best blending of sounds and dynamics, as well as choosing tunes and songs that are exciting to listen to, sing along with or dance to.

Building on the success of her Borrowed Places tour, Miranda Sykes is back with a completely new project: Behind The Wall. Where Borrowed Places opened a window into the past, explaining where she had been, physically & spiritually, Behind The Wall is a Roller Coaster Ride exploring where we are going; Miranda, you, me, all of us. What does it mean to be human today, living in our commu...nities & societies & where will our actions lead us? Powerful and hard-hitting but also poignant & beautiful, this show gives us all a chance to reflect & maybe even empower us.

On Saturday 9th March we welcome Judy Cook to the barn with her Well Met: Songs Of The Sea show.
Judy Cook tells the intriguing stories from the great days of sail when tall ships ruled the seas. These are tales of the excitement, danger, and superstitions of the sea; and of sailors’ loves and follies; told through songs and projected images. Judy weaves gripping stories and great choruses; tragic tales and flights of fancy into a cohesive and thoroughly entertaining whole. ...Throughout the program you will see projected photos of the day, works of art, and lyrics of the choruses. The audience is invited to join in the singing.

This Saturday we welcome Afterglow Genesis Tribute Band to the barn.
The idea behind Afterglow is to cover the music Genesis played once Phil Collins took on vocal duties. The earlier Gabriel period is well supported by numerous tribute bands but there isn’t much opportunity to hear those later tracks that are equally popular with most Genesis fans. Afterglow are not the kind of tribute act that attempts to re-enact a particular tour or even look like the original artists bu...t rather to recreate the music that Genesis played over the years. So don’t expect costumes or Mellotrons catching fire. Do expect to hear the music played with authentic sounds and fastidious detail. Everything from A Trick of the Tail right up to We Can’t Dance… with a few oldies thrown in for good measure!

Well what can we say! We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the barn yesterday and we were blown away by the support and enthusiasm of the tireless members of the HFB team. The tech guys, the centre staff and the bar staff were exceptional. The venue was beautiful and absolutely perfect! Best day ever. Thank you xxx

We visited hanger Farm arts centre for the first time on Saturday 19th May and were very impressed with this lovely venue, also with " Rembrandt" the REM tribute band, they were amazing with their great music and attention to detail interpreting the music of REM, we hope this band will be there again soon as the whole evening was a joy for us.

We recently had our wedding reception here in August. It's a beautiful barn and the staff were all a great help throughout. We had so many compliments of the venue from our guests. A hidden gem!!! We want to say a huge thank you to Melissa and the Team for all their help and advice. We absolutely loved our day!!!

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our wedding day so special! So many of our friends/family said how beautiful the barn looked and what a lovely venue it was! It was everything we could have hoped for! Thank you again,
