The preschools "All about me" bags have started coming back we love to get to know all about the children and what they love. If your child has not yet received their bag then please ask a preschool member of staff and they will gladly give you one 🏫

The Butterflies have been very busy this week! They have been practicing their walking by getting their feet painted and walking across paper! They have also had lots of fun socializing with their friends during musical instrument time.🦋

This week the Preschool children have been getting to know their new room, they have been doing lots of lovely activities. They have been practicing their fine motor skills by learning to write there names.🏫

Know your numbers!!!!
Know your Numbers is Blood Pressure UK's campaign which raises awareness of the risks of high blood pressure The highlight of the campaign is Know your Numbers! Week, the nation's biggest blood pressure testing event, which takes place in the second week of September each year. The event, which won the healthcare category of The Charity Awards 2008, provides free blood pressure checks at thousands of 'Pressure Stations' run by health professionals all ov...er the UK.
One of our Parents (who is a nurse) is kindly taking time out of her day on Monday 10th September and will be checking our parents and staffs blood pressures from 4pm in the foyer and offering advice.
If you would like your blood pressure checked, then please come on down to nursery where she will be set up within the foyer.

*Pre-School parents*
Its that time of year again when your little ones have just started Pre-School and put on their uniforms for the first time, lots of pictures have been taken for all the family to see and lots of tears have been wipes from your eyes.
Now it's time to start thinking of the next step in your child's future........Big School.

All the new Caterpillars are having lots of fun settling into their new room. This week we have been exploring different types of sensory play, we have had water where there were lots of ducks and have enjoyed playing with the dinosaurs in cornflakes. The children have enjoyed using their imagination to play in the kitchen making people food and stomping with animals in a forest. We have also been practicing our number and our letters.🐛

In Ladybirds we have had a lovely time the past couple of weeks. We decorated some flowers, using sequins and tissue paper. The children loved making their own designs. We have also enjoyed playing in our garden. Also yesterday we did some potato printing which focused on our colours and shapes. We have been doing some colouring this morning as well. 🐞

Come and join us at nursery on Saturday 6th October 10am-12pm when we will be holding a Macmillan coffee morning. Bring the whole family and tell your friends to. There will be lots of fun games to play and Liz's famous cake to eat. As it is Grandparent's day on Sunday 7th October all Grandparents will get a free tea or coffee

Roald Dahl day Thursday 13th, please come dressed as your favourite Roald Dahl character
... Jeans for Genes day Friday 21st, please come to nursery wearing jeans for the day. A suggested donation of one pound would be greatly appreciated for this charity

The Caterpillars and Bumblebees each had a beach party in August and the Pre-school had a fun little sports day. They all had lots of fun🐝🐛

Over the last couple of weeks we have been doing lots of fun activities at nursery. One of those being a visit from the ice cream man 🐝🐛🦋🐞🏫

How fun does this look? Our Butterflies had lots of fun in water play last week. They had that much fun they even sat in the bowl!! SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH!!

This week we have been doing lots of fun Summer activities in the Bumblebee's room... On Tuesday we had an ice cream van come so we could enjoy a treat. On Wednesday we had a Beach party where we all wore our Summer outfits and invited our family along to join in with some sand, water and painting activities and more before we enjoyed some party food. We also enjoyed a garden party on Thursday where we had some fun in the sun. 🐝

On Tuesday. Caterpillars had our Beach Day. We had lots and lots of fun. Even though the weather was against us, we had a fabulous time. There was our sand and water tray that the children loved. Many sand castles were built, and hook the duck in the water. There was many inflatables and a picnic set to play with too. Overall it was a fabulous day. 🐛🏖️

Next week is parent drop in week. The sessions will run from 10-11am every morning. If you would like to attend please book in at the office

*Reminder*
Tomorrow the Ice cream van is coming to nursery. If your child is in don't forget to bring £1 to get them an Ice Cream. If your child is not in they are still welcome to come to nursery to purchase and Ice Cream. The Van will be in the car park from 2.15pm
