This is a very special dessert we’ve worked on this week for @wanderrestaurant series of Aussie dinners. . It’s Fairy Bread! An Aussie kids party fave! Bread and butter ice cream, light sponge and Aussie sprinkles. . .... . I’m so impressed with the compassion pouring out of our hospitality industry to raise funds for Australians who have been having a really hard time with the intense wild fire crisis. . . @lexinoble has gone above and beyond to do everything she can to raise money for the Adelaide hills wine region in South Australia. And she has donated to our bake sale tombola too! Her goal is £10K! I hope we can help her reach that with our Fairy Bread ice cream sandwich. . . Our East Side Vegan ice cream sandwich looking slick ! We tested and tested this until we felt like it was as flavourful and delicious as our other ice creams. . . Cashew, corn and malt “icecream”, smokey salted caramel and miso corn cookie. .... . Now on the menu with our newest pals @simplicity_burger in Brick Lane. All of those recipes I’ve spent years working with and collecting have been written up and shoved in here for ya. (To all of those DMs about recipes - I finally listened 😛) It’s written in a way that will help you to understand the principles that underpin pastry and show you that.. it’s just not that hard. In it you’ll find lots of base recipes for you to use as staples and theory on how to elevate them and make them your own.
